On June 2, 2021, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. §§ 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(2)(5)(8)(9); 326B.33; 326B.46; 326B.809; 326B.84 (2) (4) (5) (14) (15); 326B.86, subd. 2; 326B.87, subd. 2 (2020); and Minn. R. 1300.0120; 2891.0040, subps. 1C, 1D, and 1H, and 2891.0050, subp. 1A (2019). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to have building permits before performing any residential construction; provide reasonable supervision of all staff and ensure work meets all applicable building codes; have all proposals, bids, estimates, contracts and change orders be in writing. The business also agreed to not seek or accept final payments from Minnesota consumers until all permitted work has been completed, approved and satisfactorily performed. The business further agreed to cease and desist from performing or offering to perform electrical and/or plumbing work in Minnesota until proper licenses and bonding are obtained and to promptly respond with complete and accurate information to DLI. The business shall have current liability insurance as required by Minnesota Statute.  The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law.
