            BBB does not currently have a valid mailing address on file for this company. Complainants have alleged they received pets with undisclosed preexisting health conditions which led to them incurring unexpected veterinary bills. Customers who had this experience state the company failed to provide promised refunds or help out with vet bills. They also claim they didn't receive AKC paperwork as promised.

            Other customers allege the company failed to follow up with them after they put down cash deposits on pups from future litters.

            Our entire experience with Tonka Bay Newfoundlands and breeder **************** was wonderful! They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and responsible breeders and our 16wk old pup is the absolute JOY of our lives and (according to our local vet) the perfect picture of a healthy Newfie pup! I HIGHLY recommend them to prospective ************ owners. ****** cares deeply for each one of her litters and the pups are active and acclimated to being around children and family members BEFORE they go to their forever homes. We had to wait for the birth of our pup and ****** was right there with us the ENTIRE time, providing frequent updates on the dam and down to the hour communication during the arrival of the litter! It was a wonderful experience that further seals the bond between owner and pup. We have a tremendous amount of respect for Tonka Bay Newfoundlands and the entire ****** family - thank you all so much!
