            Left my info for a call back regarding our bathroom project. I received a call the next day. Discussed what we were generally looking for and told him this is our first remodel and not sure what options we have for the space. Without hesitation he asked what our budget was and I gave an xx,xxx number. He then told me that with the space we roughly have that his projects start 10-15k higher than what we said for budget. He then proceeded to tell me to check with other contractors and to contact him if I’m not happy with other businesses.

If we are not in the same budget range, then yes we both end up spending time that might be better spent pursuing other contractors that might meet your budgetary needs. Good luck on your project.
