Horrible dealership. Bought a used a vehicle, first part of June, which they apparently never cleaned or inspected. Found a sock laying on a battery cable, well done on being lazy. Contacted salesman Max because they said it had a backup camera and cruise, it didn't. Neither worked, had to get the cruise fixed, they fraudulently stated many items about the vehicle. I've given them 3 months to respond and nothing. I called, nobody would call back, texted Max, wouldn't reply anymore. First he said checking into it, never happened. They've never reached out, I'm our almost an additional $4k to fix everything they couldn't bother to disclose or look into. Had to buy a jack, it was missing, new spare tire, spare wheel, fix the leaking coolant issue which my mechanic said that must have been going on for some time as it just finally gave out a week after we bought it. Oh, they also have a ratchet strap holding some things in place, backup camera still doesn't work, smells like they never cleaned the seats. I had to clean the whole interior, vacuumed for 2 hours to get all of the broken pieces of toys, food, stains and more that they never bothered to do. They did nothing with the vehicle but buy it and sell it. They have poor communication, if any at all, poor customer service and screw customers over by committing fraud and lying to them. Variety of broken items in the vehicle as well, that we didn't know about until taking the vehicle home, seriously, would never had bought this vehicle or would have offered way less had we been made aware of all of these issues. Salesman are scammers and have no morals. On top of that they ran a credit check when I paid with a check, never had a dealer do this ever and they didn't bother to tell me it, I had to get notified as it was flagged as suspicious behavior from a service I have, talk about an untrustworthy dealership. Hope others can learn from this and avoid them at all costs, especially Max the salesman, it's still the old sales approach from the 90s and 80s, slimy and shady.White Bear Lake Superstore Response

****, I reached out to you via phone and email today after speaking with the BBB, *** your sales person, *********************** the pre-owned manager and our Service Manager ***************************. You purchased a 2008 *********************** with ******* miles on it on June 5th, 2021. The vehicle was sold to you AS-IS with no stated warranties or Work Promised after the sale. This was a 4x4 traded into our dealership that you purchased for under $8,000. ************ both tried to contact the previous owner to see if they had an extra key, any manuals or paperwork and info on **** that was missing. Unfortunately the previous owner did not have any of those items. When we sell a vehicle AS-IS we perform a lube, oil, filter and visual look. It's the responsibility of the purchaser to decide based on (their visual inspection, test drive and ability to have the vehicle inspected by a third party) if they want to purchase, ask for something in the transaction to be included (which the work promised or owed said NONE/ AS-IS) this was signed by you, or not purchase the vehicle.. I would like to speak with you when you have a chance and discuss issue. In todays environment of no new vehicles on the market and pre-owned prices at an all time high it's difficult to find affordable vehicles. The state of MN states that selling an "AS-IS' vehicle is as such and once work is performed on a sale of an "AS-IS" unit the unit no longer is "AS-IS" and has an implied warranty. That's why most large dealerships like us no longer sell vehicles like this because 13 year old vehicles with close to ******* miles will always need something and can never be perfect like a new vehicle. It also puts the dealership and the customer in a difficult position due to state laws pertaining to "AS-IS" sales. We have a great reputation and pride ourselves on Values, Ethics, Do Right, Build Lasting Relationships, and give each and every customer a Premium Experience. We believe you got a great buy on a 4x4 ***********************. I look forward to speaking to you and hope we can resolve this together.Customer Response

Charlie,Thanks for finally getting a hold of me, interesting that it took 4 months for me to finally hear back from someone and it only occurred after a BBB review, that's the only way apparently to get some customer service from your dealership. My issues with your dealership and *** is that I was lied to. We was told that it had cruise control, it didn't, didn't work. Backup camera, that didn't work as well, this was advertised online with the listing and *** confirmed it, your employee and website lied to consumers, I have to fix that and found out it didn't work on the way home. Then find out it didn't have a spare tire or a ****, neither of which *** told us about, that's just customer service, if you don't have it, you tell people. If it has issues, you tell people, sales 101, don't lie to your customers to make money off them, it's crooked, fraudulent and you should strive do better than that.Yes, I know it was bought as is, everything we buy in life is as is, don't use a weak excuse to cover for lies and poor customer service. As is doesn't mean you don't take care of things if it's broken or breaks and you didn't tell people. I buy a shirt, it has a hole in it when I get home I take it back and get my money back or a new one, it was still bought as is. *** also said it was just recently cleaned, another lie. I spent an hour vacuuming it out and my wife 2 hours trying to clean all of the stains, not too mention the sock by the battery cable, who missed that on your end? You didn't do your job as a dealership and make sure the vehicle was up to par to be sold, and I can't believe that you simply bought it from someone and not know these were issues. If so, that's a poor way to operate a business. I've bought a wide variety of vehicles over the years and this is the worse customer service I have ever had. Every time I have received info on the vehicle, sales people who actually helped, told me of any issues up front and never lied about a single thing, until I came to your dealership. We bought the vehicle based on what we were told it had, what you advertised it as, that means you should have known it existed or you knew it didn't work and still advertised it as such and lied. If it didn't work or didn't exist, then why was it advertised as such? Why did ***, your company ignore my calls and texts about resolving this the past 4 months? It took a BBB review for you to finally reach out? Spending almost $4k on fixes because you didn't do due diligence to make sure you weren't selling a lemon is a pretty poor excuse for the behavior from your dealership.I know I can sell the jeep, the question is what is your dealership going to do about the misleading information and lies that you used to sell the vehicle? *** was the only one I was aware of that tried to find a key and manual but never got back about any of the other issues, never replied to texts and pretty sure he blocked me. Never received a single call or communication until the review I posted. Unless you are offering up some financial resolution, I'm not sure what the point of you contacting me is for. It's not about customer service, I know that isn't a priority and that you don't care about that, it's very obvious.****
