Through the BBB website, we found Wesco Glass Restorations and asked them to have an estimate for changing the glass of the windows. The appointment was at 8 -9 am on June 29, and a guy whose name is Scott arrived. However, he was rude and lacked professional skills. He moved the glazing bead on the window to do the measurements without my permission, and just broke it. When I asked if he would replace the new bead, he told me that it was unreplaceable and left quickly without finishing the estimate. Then, we asked the other companies to come and were told by all the other professional workers that the bead was moved from the wrong side, and it was no surprise to be broken as it was treated in the wrong way. (See the attached photo 1 of the damaged, and photo 2 of the original) In addition, afterward, we received an email from an assistant in the company, telling us that Scott had claimed we gave him permission to “remove the stops”, the parts had broken because it was old, and that we had asked him to leave. We never gave him any permission to “remove the stops” and never told him to leave. After he broke the window part, he said that I looked upset and just quickly left by himself. As a proclaimed professional, Scott shouldn't make such technical mistakes. Especially, when this company is rated A+ on the BBB website. We are very disappointed with his service. He should be responsible for the damage he made and pay the cost of replacement. P.S. Please find attached picture 3. This is the correct way to remove it. Unlike the way Scott removed it, which was from the inner side.
