    If it was possible to leave a 'zero' star I'd have done that. Trinity Plumbing is a 'strata' only plumber that my strata corp called when there was a leak from my bathtub. They sent a plumber ($150/h) and an apprentice ($90/h) because 'they needed two people to review the leak and the spot in the basement it was coming out. They inspected the leak and I later received the invoice to pay the $1200+ bill to change a cartridge in the faucet (Part=$23.52). I've had to change all the cartridges in the suite (thanks Delta). It took me 15 minutes (a non-plumber). Their time charges included 2.5+ hours for the plumbers to go shopping to get the cartridge. Yes - 2.5 hours of shopping. So what did $1205.95 get me? A not a fixed leak. The cartridge was fine. Upon further inspection they found the pipe had a leak. Which they didn't fix. No contact with me - nothing. Just an invoice sent to the strata that I have to pay regardless of the incredibly shoddy and unbelievable expense of two techs SHOPPING to fix something that wasn't a problem. When I asked about the invoice I was told "this is why we don't deal with the public" -- in other words this is why they work with strata corps because the management people in charge don't question the invoice - nor the lack of actually fixing the problem.

    Im sorry to hear of this customers negative experience, we perform hundreds and hundreds of jobs every year and very rarely receive negative feedback. Our rate for Plumber at the time of this call was $125/hr not $150/hr. The $90/hr Apprentice rate is correct. For leak investigations where the water is showing up through the floor to the level below its fairly standard practice to always send two workers because there are multiple tests that need to be conducted from above while another worker is below in order to confirm when the leak gets recreated. Unless we know for certain beforehand that the leak is visible (from the upper area), we always need to send two workers to perform the appropriate tests and identify the exact source.Secondly, the complaint fails to mention that 1.5 hours of the invoice (for both workers) was due to them not being at home when initially agreed to. Our crew attended, knocked, called, waited then had to leave site wasting over an hour of their time.Thirdly, our crew werent driving around shopping, they were looking to source and pick up the part the faucet needed. They called and located the cartridge ant one suppluer only to find upon arrival that it was not the correct cartridge, requiring another trip to a different supplier where they found the correct part. Upon purchasing the correct part, they returned and completed the installation. Subsequent testing revealed a leak from the corrugated copper supply pipe. Aside from this, I will speak further to the team that attended in case they remember anything else as this was quite a while ago. All things considered, I would consider a minor discount (rebate) if that would help relieve the customers negative feeling but unfortunately this invoice is legitimate. I appreciate its expensive, but if the original appointment wouldve been kept it would automatically be at least $300 less.
