Terrible billing department! They incorrectly billed me and I tried for months to resolve it and dozens of calls led to nowhere. I couldn’t even get an answer or callback from the office manager. I paid the bill and let them know I will never return. Do not get LASIK or give this place your business!

One star this visit. Had an appointment with Dr. ******* set 6 months ago, then when I drive an hour & a half for the appointment, the office staff switch the doctor to a Dr. *******. My billing says *******, my initial visit was with *******, & my follow-up should have been the same. My copay should not be appropriated the office because of last minute switcheroos that the office staff do & not the doctor & I'm getting charged for an appointment that never really happened.. I saw Dr ******* as lunch was delivered by ***** that day & he had a break. This is not against him, but staff.

We were charged more that what was told.even our insurance company. Said so.one eye in April the other in may.told us we would get a refund.right away now telling us it would come from Mo.eye care partners. Called MO today so I don't know anything more.i just want people to be aware. Of there practices.

I have been struggling with my eyes since I had my first surgery in November 2021. I had cataract surgery and chose a lens that was to help my distance vision. Prior to surgery, my close up and near vision were very good and I didn't have to wear glasses at all. Dr. Patel, my eye surgeon, did not explain to me that I would have to wear reading glasses after my surgery. I was told that I may have to wear readers at some point as I got older. Nothing was said about my near vision. Dr. Patel obviously didn't have my best interests at heart, only her own. Not only have I struggled daily since my surgeries seeing, I paid $4,500 out of pocket, I also had to get prescription glasses with another $500 out of pocket. I called to speak to someone at the office about my frustration. I spoke to Marylou who is at the northern KY office and she suggested I make an appointment to discuss my situation with Dr. Patel. I did this and Dr. Patel recommended that I get a different lens which involved more eye surgeries. Dr. Patel doesn't care about her patients. I didn't receive another call back from anyone since. The fact is that I use my close up and near vision all the time and it was taken away. My distance vision is improved, but not great, and now to have good vision I will have to wear glasses all the time. I had no idea this would happen, even though when I talked to Marylou from that office, she said that it was made clear to me that I would have to wear readers all the time. I will never go back to Dr Patel ever again and now I've learned to mistrust medical professionals. If things were made clear to me I would have chosen the normal lens after cataract surgery and gotten glasses for distance which would have been in my beast interest all the way around. I have been extremely affected by this whole ordeal and saddened by the outcome. Sincerely, Stephanie *****
