On 3/16/2024, Marianne R******** brought her vehicle in for an Oil Change and an oil leak. We found that the Valve Cover Gasket was leaking, and we replaced it. Marianne left and the vehicle started smoking under the hood, she brought the vehicle back and we found that the valve cover gasket was still leaking. We replaced it with a warranty at no charge to Marianne and cleaned everything up. After she left my manager called her to make sure everything was ok and Marianne said yes. She was at one of my other locations on 3/25/2024 for an uber inspection and she had no complaints.

Do NOT use this store. They do not honor warranties! Stay clear. They are untrustworthy and will do everything in their power to avoid doing the right thing. They kept my car forever and lied about diagnosis repeatedly. They have no honor or respect for customers who have paid for services. Take your money elsewhere because you will definitely be sorry that you spent your money there.

This is the note my management team has made on the customer’s invoice. Basically, the bolt that holds the alternator bracket is broken and they have not or let us fix it so we can check the AC properly. That is the reason the belt is making noise and is not allowing the belt to control the AC Compressor, Alternator correctly. The customer will not fix their vehicle properly so we can properly check the AC system. • Appointment Note: Last year I had my air conditioner unit replaced at a Meineke in ********** Alabama. It worked but never cooled the vehicle like before. Late last year it started making a grinding noise. It was sporadic. It sounded like the bearings were going out. I brought it there to get checked out but that day it wasn’t grinding. Now it’s completely not working. • Talked to a previous shop and they said the vehicle had burnt up a few A/C Relays when they had it in. DM We found A/C Schrader valves were leaking. We replaced the valves when we performed an Evac & Recharge on the system. A/C Compressor is still not engaging. DM • Called customer at 5:50PM 2/21/2023 and asked them about the previous repairs that have been made to the vehicle other than A/C related components. The customer informed me that the belt had been making noise and that he had been putting stop squeak spray on the belt every morning. He also mentioned that his alternator mounting bolt is broke and he has an appointment to get that fixed. DM • Called Customer 2/22/2023 at 8:22AM. I informed him of where we are at. We need to get a bolt in the Alternator (this may require bolt extraction time) and a new belt and tensioner before we can test any further. The customer declined repairs and is having another person do the repairs. DM Wants us to leave the vehicle outside and lock keys under drivers floormat. DM • 2/22/23 Customer is taking vehicle again and coming back after repairs for us to further inspect the A/C system. We have noticed that the alternator bolt is broken and is causing the belt to slip, and customers have been using a stop squeak to quiet down the belt. The belt is fraying on the side and mixing with the stop squeak causing a black sticky mixture that has coated most of the components around the pulleys. The Serpentine belt is slipping across the alternator pulley and is not charging the battery. Battery has failed and only has 29CCA battery should have 650CCA-750CCA. The belt also slips more when A/C is engaged. DM • Customer brought back vehicle on 2/27/23. We inspected the vehicle and found that the Alternator bolt was still not extracted/replaced. However, someone put the bracket to the alternator back on. The repair procedure for the alternator does state “7. Disconnect the A/C compressor clutch connector (C) from the A/C compressor." (See inspection tab under other for image). The A/C Compressor clutch wire is not connected to the A/C Compressor at this time causing it to be inoperable. This would not be covered under the warranty. DM • On 02/27/23 I reached back out to the customer and got no response this morning. At 5:25PM Customer called back. I spoke to the customer and informed him of our findings. (see above note) Here is the inspection ************************************************************************************
