Purchased a 383 rotating assembly for a small block chevy on april 27 2022. The crankshaft was advertised in bold red letters as being internally balanced, as were the flexplate and damper. Recieved was an externally balanced crankshaft, damper , and flexplate. A quick mock up reveals the counterweights on the damper contact the timing chain cover when fully seated to the crank. Regardless, I didnt order an externally balanced assembly, I ordered an interally balance one. I figure they didnt have what I ordered in stock so as not to loose a sale they substituted parts without informing the customer. They did the same thing in the beginning with my piston rings and rod bearings.Didnt have them in stock so I was issued a refund and left to find them on my own.didnt know this till after my shippment arrived. Couldnt reach anyone then either. I have tried to contact a sales rep for this rotating assembly issue also, via email, and have made numerous phone calls to reach no one. Here we go again.Reading other complaints on the internet about this companies after sales practice's combined with my own experience to date changes me from a first time customer to a "live and learn", one time customer. What I want now is either the internally balanced 383 rotating assembly I ordered, or my money back. Would even accept just the advertised crankshaft for an internally balanced assembly, as the rest of my order seems to be correct, and I can modify the damper and flexplate.Or refund me the purchase price of the Crankshaft and I'll find one on my own.
