Complaint Weeds coming through driveway after 3 weeks, company not following through. I had a new driveway installed by this company the first week in October 2014. Three weeks later weeds started popping up through the asphalt at about 10 different spots. I was not home when they did the work and was not able to watch but I suspect they did not pour as much asphalt as they said they would for this to occur. I have called several times and only got a response when I did not mention any complaints on the message and led them to believe I could be a potential client. I was told they would come out in a week or two to deal with it and have been waiting for a month. Conditions may be too cold now, but I would like some confirmation they are going to deal with this at some point. I spent about 4000$ on this driveway. It is frustrating because I could have dealt with the weeds before if given any instruction to do so, but I had no idea this was even possible. Low quality work.
Desired Settlement I would like them to re pave the driveway as there are so many areas of damage including the sides at a few spots. I'm not sure if this is possible.
Business Response The business indicated that they were in communication with the consumer prior to receiving receiving the complaint. They indicated the driveway was repaired last week and the consumer is now satisfied.
Complaint driveway was paved in April of 2013. I contacted the company several times and they never responded or resolved the issues with the product. in April of 2013, I had my driveway paved by caurora paving. in late june the driveway had still not fully hardened to the extent where I could not drive my atv out of my garage. I contacted the company and they assured me they would send someone to come solve my issues. this service call has never been fulfilled. I have contacted the company on more than 7 different occasions both via email and telephone. the keep making empty promises that they would return to fix the driveway and every time the days kept getting further and further postponed. more than 1 year later and the issues still exist. in the winter the driveway rose and expanded by 2 inches, permitting water which then froze to not allow access to the garage and locking a vehicle in the garage for 2 weeks. I contacted the company again and sent images to the owner. he had no response to anything. I contacted his cell phone directly and after 2 times he stopped answering phone calls from my number. I tried contacting the company to resolve my issues to the best of my abilities and I still am left with nothing.
Desired Settlement I want the quality I was promised. I would like some money back so another company can fix their mistakes or I want them to fix their errors.
Business Response The business indicated the issue has been resolved free of charge. The consumer caused the damage by using a jack in the driveway. Normally there is a charge for the repair, however as a goodwill gesture the business did not charge the consumer.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) they did come to repair the driveway. they fixed the major issues with the driveway that i originally complained about. the jack did not do the damage they repaired. the damage that they repaired was due to the fact that the driveway was still soft months later.
