      ******************************** What a disaster. Everything seemed fine at the onset. The estimate they gave was reasonable and we moved forward. Jerry was great at the onset of it all.
      Once the pack and move were happening, apparently they had really underestimated the time/labour required. So that was a big frustration point as it cost us WAY more than the estimate was for. However, we decided that it was fine and we would just pay it.
      However, they damaged a very expensive outdoor BBQ cabinet of ours. They admitted that they damaged it by putting too much weight on top of it in the truck and it buckled. I sent a follow up a few weeks after our move and never heard back from them. I finally follow up again, and they are now saying that because I didn't pay the deductible then (which they never asked for?) that they couldn't put a claim in, and too much time had passed since the claim anyways. I followed up and they ignored my email. Firstly, I shouldn't have had to chase them down. Secondly, they should just be eating the cost at this point and getting us a new cabinet.
      They offered to try and fix the cabinet, but it is steel that buckled. It isn't something you can just "fix" and reinstate it.
      Also, I found Barbara to have a very poor tone in her emails. Seamingly blaming everything back on the customer "You should have called when we didn't reply" or "Whatever he can do is what it is" about the repair mans capabilities, or "he claim does not become a claim until the deductible of $150 is paid" (never mentioned before). The entire experience was just infuriating to say the least. I hope this company can hire staff who know how to treat customers, and I hope they can live up to what's the right thing to do, and just accept that they need to replace the unit and not make some horrible make shift attempt to repair a steel cabinet .

      We would like to apologize for your move not meeting up to your exceptions. For the cost of the move, it is a dock to dock service from the time the movers leave the warehouse until they return. This is stated in our paperwork provided to you prior to moving day. Damages do happen from time and we are sorry that there was damage to your barbeque. We did send out someone to repair the unit and was told that it is fixed. There is nothing wrong with the acutal barbeque itself, so the insurance company would not be replacing it. We do reserve the right to repair. The $150 deductible was in the moving services agreement that was sent to you on July 19th. We didn't charge this deductible to you because of missing your initial email. Sorry for any inconvenience.
