            The Personal Insurance will not credit me back $154.90 taken out of my bank account on Nov 21 2023 for a policy that i am no longer on. They made the mistake and they want me to go to the bank and get them to "refuse payment from payor" which the bank will not do because it has been three days past when I was charged

            Shortly after having signed with the Personal we received a notice (please send me a copy of that notice as I must have misplaced it) from The Personal to provide our driving history in Canada setting a deadline of 30 days. We are a very busy family with my working day longer. ** *** ** **** ** *** ** ****** ****** *** ***** ******* ********* ** ***** ****** I have been 26 years in Canada and it was only the 1st time ever an insurance company requested our driving history records. Considering our circumstances it took much longer to obtain the required documents and I did notify The Personal on the due date that I was still working on that. It took me time to figure out how to request the required documents. The Personal did not provide detailed instructions on how to obtain this document. The Personal never notified me that if the deadline of 30 days is not met, then there would be an extra charge. At this point I'm not sure if the Personal charges me for not meeting the deadline or because of inconsistencies with our driving history records. We believe The Personal should have requested our driving history from the Ministry of Transportation on their own and charging us for this service. The Personal should have advised prior to our signing with them that they have a practice of requesting the driving history records from the Ministry. We believe The Personal should have advised that in case the deadline is not met they will charge us extra. All in all we have experienced very poor customer service with a not appropriate charge of $213.00 and believe this charge should be credited.
