Me and my wife bought a USED RV 11 Nov 2023 @ the Blue Springs MO. location. The RV only had 13,000 miles on the chassis. The RV was owned by a older couple from Arizona and I also had a trade in that was in excellent condition for a 2012. Even the technicians on the floor was commenting on what a nice and well taken care of trailer it was. Got the lowest offer and it was sickening to me, 11,400 trade in for a NADA low retail of 18,000. I should have walked away, but it had some issues, nothing major and nothing even close to the 2018 THOR Compass 23TR I bought. I am aware everybody has to make a living, I got that, but to be honest a dealership should not LIE to a consumer, I mean down right lie and mislead a consumer just to make a dollar. Finance gave me a interest rate of 12.49% and told me the bank were denying my credit app with credit score of 715, which is in the green and good. They padded the interest rate to make money for the bank and themselves, to me that should be illegal. I have never owned a RV before and I bought a warranty and it was just for the coach and was over 6000.00 dollars. I tried to use it coming home for a front end shimmy that I had a hard time holding it in the road. Claim denied. Then I go to put GAS in it and the inner gas cap was broke. Claim denied, as the warranty was only for the coach. Hotel stays during our road trip from hell, Claims denied. Now a new problem with the lights in the coach and the chassis, claim denied again. Black water pipes leaking all over my garage floor, Claim denied. The good Lord only knows what other issues me and the wife will have with this RV. The owners had removed the couch and put in rocking chairs, which was ok. I had the dealership order me a couch from *******, well on the day of signing they asked me if I still wanted the couch, I said YES, but nobody has told me the price. 1100.00 dollars installed and one hour of shop labor which is fine, but a 300.00 plus dollar markup NO
