            Med Loan Finance is a loan processing company only that works with multiple lenders in obtaining loans which may include credit cards for medical purposes for their clients. Lenders include (but not limited to) banks, finance companies and credit card issuers. Med Loan Finance charges a processing fee for their service. Per company's fee schedule (last confirmed by BBB in 2012) Med Loan Finance fees range from $89.10 to $1,995.00 based on program selected and loan amount.

            Med Loan Finance states the following regarding Med Loan Finance.com Fees:

            For accounts that are approved and activated through their lending partners, Med Loan Finance.com has a processing fee (fee chart provided in online application), by default, this processing fee will be billed against the account selected on this application whether for the full amount you requested or less than the full request and the fee will be charged accordingly. If approved for more than requested, fees will be based on loan amount requested.

            Additionally, Med Loan Finance includes on the application the following statement regarding authorization to release credit information and credit policies:

            AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE CREDIT INFORMATION AND CREDIT POLICIES
            By submitting my application, I authorize "Med Loan Finance", a loan processing company and / or their affiliated lending partners to run a credit report and verify the information I have provided. I understand "Med Loan Finance" will be acting as a Fee Based credit-processing agent on my behalf and therefore does not approve, deny, set the rate and terms, guarantee loan approvals or discriminate against anyone for any reason. As a part of this search, I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies. I understand that I will be charged loan processing fees for these services. Furthermore, while calculated monthly, I understand that the total amount of the fees will be added to my base loan amount requested and become a part of my principal balance in most cases. I agree to "hold harmless" "Med Loan Finance" from any and all legal actions that might be taken as a result of a disputed matter with my Service Provider or Vendor.

            I applied for a LOAN and instead MED LOAN split my original loan request onto two separate Credit Cards. I didn't want credit cards, I have those, and can apply for them for free, all by myself. After submitting my loan request, I immediately received an email notice, from two separate credit card companies, stating I was approved for two credit cards. I immediately called and I emailed Candice from MED LOAN Finance and she didn't answer or respond to me for four days straight. I didn't want credit cards, MED LOAN Finance charged me $500 plus in fees for the first credit card and now again another $800 in fees for the other credit card. Very unprofessional and deceiving loan finance company. DO NOT waste your time and money with this company.

            Consumer applied for credit, not only a LOAN as consumer is referring to. On our application and Loan Search Form it states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies.”. With the option the consumer selected, it states again, “This Program may include Credit Cards” It does not specifically say LOAN only as consumer states. The Loan Search Form also states, “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!” Based on consumers credit it is presented to the best option for them. The reason we did not respond was because of the Thanksgiving holiday. The customer told us that their provider did not accept credit cards. They were closed on Thanksgiving. We confirmed that they did accept credit cards as in the past. We then responded to the consumer after the Thanksgiving holiday. The fees charged were electronically agreed to by the consumer on the Loan Search Form. We have been in business for over 20 years and process 100’s of applications weekly.
