The absolute worst moving company ever!!! They lied, stole and committed fraud. Save yourself the stress, please. Do NOT hire A Arnold!!! We hired them to move us from Lawrence Kansas to San Diego, California. The cost was close to $30,000 and $1200.00 of that was full insurance coverage. They packed our furniture, electronics, artwork. We packed most of our other belongings. Right off the bat, Ryan, who owned the semi begged to let him leave 5 days later than our contract stated so he could attend a baby shower. What? I did NOT want to agree to this but worried if I didn’t, he would deliberately damage our stuff. Everything was bad from the beginning. They underestimated our move and ran out of space on the semi. The last item loaded on day 1 was a $2500 floor lamp from Williams & Sonoma. This item wasn’t wrapped. It was taken off the semi in Raytown at their warehouse and…..stolen? Lost? Who knows? We were told they could see it on video being taking from the semi, but then? It was gone. But I got ahead of myself. Back to the move. When they finally arrived in San Diego, they had to take our stuff off the semi and put it on smaller trucks to get to our house on Mt Helix. The guys were complaining they weren’t getting paid enough and threatened to quit. Which is what they did. They said, ok, all done and 50% of our belongings were literally sitting in the driveway!! They then pressured my husband to sign off on the move. Which he did. We couldn’t even find our things. They packed the garage with stuff piled high .How could we even tell if things were damaged? Well, they were. TV destroyed, furniture destroyed. Boxes crushed. All mattresses were stained with some gross black gunk. Two weeks later the overflow truck arrives. More damage. Items lost. Parts to things were missing. Claim filed and we stopped payment on $20,000. We expect no support from insurance. A Arnold won’t speak to us. The worst company!!!
