              Had my car towed to Molle Audi service department for engine issues in March 2023. Audi spent the next couple days going through the engine and ultimately told me that the engine needed to be replaced along with turbos and other various parts for a total of $56,000. I was charged by Audi for the inspection of the engine. Not able to afford this estimated repair cost, I had to have the car towed back to my house where I sold the vehicle as is. The party who bought the car ended up replacing the necessary parts to get the engine to start which it ultimately started up and is running fine. The original engine turned out to be fine and is working properly. However, based off the professional opinion from Audi, I was told the engine had to be replaced, so I sold the car and took a big loss in money only to find out the engine was okay. I am out over $25,000 on the car from what I purchased it for versus what I had to sell the car for what it was worth with the understanding the engine needed to be replaced.

              My Audi A5 2010 was service and still had the same issues. The **************** light stays on. I paid for a service that wasn't fixed. They gave me all sort of excuse & I use work on vehicles in the military. I'm disabled and they want more money from an issue I paid for.

              After looking into this information I found that the vehicle was running extremely rough so we swapped plugs and coils and found the misfire followed the coils. After replacing the coil the car never ran rough again for us. However the light did come back on and we were trying to clean up work someone else had done to the vehicle when replacing the turbo. After connecting the electrical connectors and the vacuum line to the turbo and erased faults. There was no check engine light after our test drive. We always recommend doing the spark plugs and coils at the same time while you are in there but I see we just did coils per your request which is what we were 100% certain that was bad at the time. I would be glad to look at the vehicle again and see if the light is back on for something we did and not charge you anything for the diagnosis. At that point if it's related to the after market turbo or something other then the coils then we can get you the cost on replacement and try and help you out on the price.
