    I rented a property from River City Property Management from August 2022 to July 2023. When I moved into the property, I documented all damages to the property that had occurred prior to my move in and let River City know about them so they could address the issues. I was ignored and the issues were never addressed during my year long lease. Now that I have moved out, they are charging me for ALL of these damages, even though I had documented that they had occurred prior to my move in. River city is attempting to keep my entire security deposit of $825, as well as charge me an additional $92 for said damages. They have been rude and combative throughout my trying to find a resolution. I am happy to pay for damages I caused, however, I do not find it acceptable to be charged for damages prior to my move in that they had been made aware of several times, and chose to ignore. They neglect their properties, ignore tenants concerns, and then proceed to charge for their lack of initiative. Something must be done.

    Slum lords no respect for there tenants, properties and surrounding residents, pest problems, mechanical issues. No emergency contact

    ****** contacted our office when he initially moved in in July 2021 regarding pests and we have had that taken care of and worked with him back in July 2021. We have not heard anything from him until he left a message last week about wet clothes in the washer. We have a work order for the laundry at this property and the parts have been on order for a little bit. He called in again on 9/18 at 8:03pm telling us he had cockroaches, the laundry doesnt work and that he cant park in his spot (there is no assigned parking) and that he didnt like the neighbors. We called him 9/19 at 2:17 pm & left him a message and we have never heard back from him. He has not called our emergency contact number at all. We document every call that comes into that phone.
