Received a call from Comfort Solution, **************************** in February for a cleaning and inspection on furnace on March 1, 2022 @ 9a.m. Serviceman **** came out cleaned furnace. Furnace was running fine before cleaning. Serviceman **** says I need a new heat exchange and I can't run furnace. Fix it or replace furnace? I looked up warranty on furnace (Warranty expired in February of 2022?). Cost of damage to replace or fix it would be $2800.00 for parts and labor and tax. No hard copy estimate, sent. Or, we can put in a 2021 and three month old furnace and less BTU's for $3200.00 plus tax. No estimate, sent.I called three other furnace companies for an evaluation and estimate and explained to them that the furnace was working fine until Comfort Solutions came out. We worked in basement the weekend of 2/26,27 of 2022 to clear area around furnace for C.S serviceman to clean and inspect on March 1, 2022. Are furnace never sounded like a Jet taking off an Aircraft carrier and going into emergency shut down and the smell of gas. Have called Comfort Solutions on three attempts to get this resolved and No resolution and hung up on by companies day to day manger. Owner, has been inform but hasn't returned my calls. We informed all three companies and they inspected the furnace and it was indicated that they cannot claim that he sabotaged or deliberately damage the furnace during cleaning. But, when the new furnace was replaced the furnace installer said we would of had 5 yrs. left on old furnace if we hadn't cleaned. I'm requesting *reimbursement from Comfort Solutions for service fee of $96.30, their estimate to fix at $2800.00. I had to borrow money to put a new furnace in. Myself and another family member are both disabled and didn't enjoy sleeping in a 52 degree house and using space heaters and running up our electric ****. This wasn't what I expected out of a company I trusted. I want restitution and Comfort Solutions held accountable for their actions.
