I purchased a **** ****** flatbed trailer on 7/14/2022. When I researched this trailer it was posted in the sale ad that it had 4 new wheel seals, which actually stated in the ad and there was a picture of their own work order which stated the same. When I went to look at and inspect the trailer in person, I was also told again by the owner, ******* Lyons, that it in fact had 4 new wheel seals installed. I never looked personally to verify this because I took ******* Lyons word for it, that the said work had actually been done. After approximately **** miles of use, the left front wheel seal started leaking. I informed ************************************* of this because I figured he would want to take care of it. The more I thought about it I just decided to fix it myself to make sure it was done right. The leaking seal in fact was a new seal that had been installed incorrectly. After I finished the repair, I then proceeded to inspect the other 3 seals, none of the other seals had been replaced! I then contacted ******* Lyons and informed him of this. His reply was that he made a mistake about the seals. He told me that I had no work order from them stating that it had 4 new seals, which is false because I have 2 different places that I saved pics of which states otherwise. I asked him what he was going to do about this to make it right, and I got from him was send me your invoice.. for what I have NO clue. He clearly thinks him and his business did nothing wrong, because he says it was a mistake. So.. advertising work done on a piece of equipment that youre selling, and then saying that they made a mistake by advertising that, is ok..?In my opinion that is FRAUD, MISREPRESENTATION and a boldface LIE!To do a wheel seal for one I price at $250.00 which is so cheap you couldnt get it done anywhere, but Ill price it at that times 4. I feel Im owed $1000.00 for this. Which is MORE THAN FAIR.
