These people have no idea what they are doing. Someone ran a stop sign and hit me pretty hard. I had a broken sternum, a broken tooth and body banged up. My ** told me I will be in pain for the rest of my life. These lawyers would not hard and fast go after them, like they were afraid. I started out with 1 lawyer and she ended up leaving so I was bounced around from one the owners to his wife, didnt meet his wife until the day of the deposition. After that I was told that I wouldnt get anymore than her max amount of her insurance, okbutdont you work for me. The other parties kept giving low ball offers. The day of the mediation, my lawyer was like well we cant insist on a high pay out, youll be lucky to get her max amount, which I was told was $100,000 which after paying them and my medical bills didnt leave much at all, I felt I deserved something for pain and suffering. She sent them a couple of demand for payment and she said well they dont have to pay. Both her and husband kept saying I was the one that could say no to any offers and we would go to court. During this whole time my husband would say maybe you should get a different lawyer, these people dont know what theyre doing. After my mediation and they didnt give a decent offer, my lawyer said well go to court. A few days later, her husband called and said they offered this amount and the mediator and I think you should accept. I said no thats not even her max amount for her insurance but he bullied and belittled me and said youre just wanting my office to spend a bunch of money and you might not get this offer in court. I said well shouldnt you be thinking the more I get the more you get. He was very adamant that they did not want to take it to court. There were many times I felt like they were on the other persons side. Anyway, after her husband bullied(like not letting me even hang up) me, my husband just take it so you dont have to deal with them anymoreso that what we did. Horrible!!
