Be aware of this business. They managed my vacation rental and the deterioration of the unit in such a short period time was truly devastating as we had taken very good care of it and constantly made improvements so it was enjoyable for our guests and also for us when we were able to visit. Things they promised to fix were never fixed unless we physically went to the unit to see for ourselves. There was even a period of about a year where there was no smoke alarm in the unit. We bought the alarms and they committed to install. A year later, we went to the unit and the smoke alarm was still not installed. We pointed out that this was an extremely serious safety issue and not having smoke alarms was not an option. They also file the taxes as part of their management services. This remains a nightmare as we constantly receive delinquency notices from the tax department, literally on a monthly basis for unfiled taxes. We end up paying them ourselves as the most recent delinquency was going to collections. Maui Rental Group is constantly sending postcards for new business, even to us when we are already using them. They are not able to handle their current clients, we have direct experience. It is not surprising that they have to aggressively solicit new business. They are owned by Vtrips which is not a local company. We are so happy to no longer have them managing our unit! We have even heard from some of their former employees about their poor business practices and how poorly they were treated. So sad. Highly recommend not using this business. We would not want to have anyone else going through what we went through. There are many other good options for management companies. Don't make the same mistake!

That being said, Id like to take a moment to address a couple of the points you made.VTrips pays taxes on time. The tax notices were sent because we filed a paper return, which we informed you of on multiple occasions. As you know, the reason for filing by paper was because you misplaced your login credentials to the *** site. And in regards to the smoke detector, we were unable to work due to COVID restrictions on the *************** let us know that would be fine.But at the end of the day, what matters to us most is how we're viewed by the community. So we regret to hear you were dissatisfied with our partnership, and we wish you nothing but success in the future.
