I paid for a full stay at Days Inn. Dates 11/11-11/16/2021. We went on a full day excursion on 11/13 leaving the room before 10am. We got a call from the hotel front desk around 7:30pm while at dinner about issues with our room. I called back to speak to a supervisor and I was told that I couldnt speak with a supervisor but I had to come in right away to the front desk to speak with the manager. When I got back to the hotel with my wife, our room was locked and our keycard didnt work. We went to the front desk and told them our room was locked with all of our belongings inside and what was happening with our room. The front desk manager that night stated that our room smelled of smoke and it must have been us. We explained that we had been gone all day and theres no way we smoked in the room or the premises of that matter because we were not there. They got insulted and frustrated so we called the *********** to help us retrieve our belongings. After the *********** arrived to the hotel they spoke with the hotel manager and she asked them to remove us from the premises. The *********** then entered our hotel room and we started packing our belongings and noticed some of our gold jewelry was missing from our luggage. The police didnt smell any smoke in the room and actually stated it smelled of cleaning chemicals from the hotel cleaning crew that entered our room that day 11/13. After we mentioned our jewelry was missing the hotel manager said no one from the staff had ever entered our room to clean it and I told them to check the cameras and they refused to check the cameras. They also said they saw us smoking on cameras but didnt want to show us those videos as well. They robbed us and removed us from the hotel. I was robbed by this hotel and humiliated. I called the hotel several times to resolve this issue and NEVER recovered my jewelry, or refund. I was forced to sleep in my rental car on 11/13 because there was no available Hotels in the area.
