*** 8/13Update******** called my mom and was going to put her on the schedule if I remove this review. In essence it validates the review. You don't get to erase a true review of the service you didn't provide by doing what should have been done in the first place to fix a situation your staff created**My mom and aunt were clearing out their sisters home as they recently moved her into an assisted living facility. They had an appointment window with this dreadful company from 10am to 1pm to destroy ***** boxes of documents. The driver called my mom at 8am stating he will be at my aunts house in five minutes. My mom goes "Our appointment window is ****pm". She then tells him she can be there by 930 as she had to rearrange her schedule to rush over there. The driver says ok but then never shows up. My mom then calls the office and spoke to *****? She offered to reschedule to the following week. Unfortunately the new appointment wouldn't work as the house is being prepped to be sold and my mom had other appointments she couldn't change.She calls me and I could tell she was irritated. I called the company hoping to get this resolved. When the phone was answered, I asked for a manager due to the situation's escalation. *****? announced she was a partner in the business. I explained to her the situation but before I ending she could finish recapping the situation she cuts me off as she goes "I'm aware of this situation". I asked what can she do since the error was on their side. She goes "It doesn't matter at this point and there is nothing I can do today". Rather than deal with the poor customer service from an owner, I hung up the phone. If this is how a partner in the business speaks to a customer, its no wonder their employee has the same lackadaisical attitude when dealing with customers.
