Irresponsible and unprofessional. *** quoted me a price that was incorrect and refused to take responsibility for his mistake.I was told I would be referred to an attorney that would charge me a few hundred dollars, but the attorney I was referred to charges $1000. When I mentioned that I was referred by ***************************** from guidewaylegal the attorney had no idea who she or guidewaylegal was. Guidewaylegal just Googled an attorney and passed me the link to their website, that is not type of referral I paid for.I spoke to *** to rectify the problem but he refused to take responsibility and refused to assist in finding a more reasonably priced attorney, as he said guidewaylegal would in the first place. And of course he would not refund the $650 I had already spent.Basically, at guidewaylegal they'll tell you whatever you want to hear so they can close the deal and then whatever problems arise after you pay their fees is your own problem.

***** has an incorrect view of the service he hired us for, which was to prepare a Prenuptial Agreement. He is essentially saying that we promised to find him a referral to an outside attorney that was within a pariticular price range. We did not do this. We only refer people to outside attorneys as a courtesy because it's a good practice to have legal documents reviewed by counsel before signing them. We did not guarantee to find him a referral that is within a particular price range. No one told ***** that an attorney attorney referral would cost "a few hundred dollars".Our written service agreement stated that we were to prepare a Prenuptial Agreement, which we did. Our service agreement even states, "You are paying me only for those services listed above and no others."
