I ordered cabinets from Gilman's in July of 2021. Right after ordering, my partner and I reviewed the plans and discovered the measurements were completely wrong for one wall of the kitchen. AT MY EXPENSE, my contractor remeasured the wall for gilmans. I asked gilmans to review the rest of the plans. They stated everything else was fine. I unfortunately took their word. When I received the cabinets, there were other issues. We received a pantry that we did not order. Unfortunately, I signed the final contract so that was my miss However, They did not measure correctly on another wall. They refused to acknowledge or correct their mistake. It cost me over $1000.00 to fix. I had to take out part of a soffit to accommodate a cabinet that was measured incorrectly.And finally, when we were starting to install the handles, the gilmans designer failed to consider the opening of the refrigerator door. If we install the handles as gilmans designed it, we will not be able to open the refrigerator door. And they refuse to correct their mistake. They instead expect me to pay to fix it, or buy different hardware.With every mistake, Gilman's has either blamed me or my contractor, and refused to acknowledge or correct their mistake.
