On May 10 2023, I requested a quote from Houseplans.com to modify one of their stock plans. Houseplans then put me in touch with one of their modification team member, who I thought was the owner of the said plan. I spoke with the individual over phone and he gave me a quote over the phone. The team member then followed with an email detailing what exactly he wanted to get me a plan. Towards the end of July, I submitted the items that had been requested. ******** from houseplans.com then asked that before they could do any modifications I should buy the original plan, which I did. A day or two later I received an unmodified plan from another vendor, ************ (it was at this point that I realized that this is the originator of the plan). I immediately, wrote to ***** design telling them I had no use of their plan, that what I had paid for was a modified plan. I went ahead and deleted the email with the attached plan. ******** at ***** design then told me via email that when my order was placed, ******** from houseplans.com had not sent a note requesting a modified plan. She had just ordered the plan without any information about my needs. I tried by all means to resolve the issue with both Houseplans.com and ***** design to no avail. I requested a refund from houseplans.com but they dilly dallying. As gate keepers of stock plans from various architecture, houseplans is not playing fair. Communications with ******** at houseplans is difficult and not that fruitful. She doesnt attend to issues at hand and meanders a lot. I pray you will help so I might recover my money.
