I've been using Blurb since 2012 and have written 4 books using them. I have been very happy with each one! That being said, I haven't opened the books I've written up for sale to the public yet, mainly because they were written just for me and friends/family. So I can't speak to the royalties or sales end of things. But I've been happy with the quality of each book I've ordered so far. My only complaint would be the prices for anything other than the trade books. The trade *********** downloads are at a nice price point, but the photo book I ordered was kind of expensive. It was less than 50 pages, 7x7 size, paperback, with shipping, cost me over $30 - for one copy. In order to sell this to the public & make a profit, I'd have to list it at almost $30! I'm afraid nobody will be willing to pay that for such a small, paperback book. I know photo books are more expensive everywhere, and I haven't tried printing it anywhere else to be able to compare the price points, so perhaps Blurb is still comparable to others? I will say, however, I was very happy with the photo quality in the book copy I received! I am considering opening a couple of my books up to the public for sale in the near future, so we'll see where it goes from there, but for now, I'm a very satisfied customer!
