Kept receiving calls while at was at work and then when I emailed them with the contact form on their website, and asked them to contact me after 5pm central time on weekdays, they started to contact me on weekends. I asked for a letter showing the validity of the debt was initially ignored, but when they finally called a a decent time, I was finally able to get one from Hayden. He was very rude and short with me, however, and made it a point to say they had already sent one out to me. I advised that I never received it, and he sent out another one. He said a settlement or discount was out of the question, and I told him I'd review the letter and try to set up a payment arrangement. The call kept cutting in and out on his end, and it was hard to understand. He kept trying to get me to pay immediately and I kept telling him I didn't have the money. I had to drive the entire call, because he never once actually told me what he wanted other than telling me his name. Finally I told him (again) that I would call him back or mail in payment, he said something indistinguishable, and then hung up on me. I work for a collection agency and everything we're taught goes against everything this guy and this business acted like. Be empathetic, but mostly, don't be rude.
