Hi Better Business Bureau,On April 20, 2022, I took my 2011 Land Rover LR4 vehicle to get serviced for an oil change to Cole European Service in ************. I asked my sales representative, *******************, if he could have the service technician to take a look at my breaks as they'd began making a small squeek when I reversed. I received a call from **** later notifying me that my breaks pads, sensors and rotors would need replacement. He quoted about $886.00 for the oil change and the break pads, rotor and sensor change. I approved for the service repairs, and on the same date I picked up my vehicle. The next day, I had my vehicle smogged, and the service tech suggested I get my breaks checked because the noise they are making is abnormal. My fianc later checked the rotors and breaks and realized they never changed the rotors. I thought this might be a mistake, so I took a look at the invoice, and the invoice states "replaced worn rear brake *************** On the same date, my Fianc and I went to Cole European, and **** stated the invoice had a typo, and that they determined the rotors didn't need to be changed so they never changed the rotors, I was upset so I left and I figured I could contact management later. On 04/22/22, **** emailed me and provided me with an email estimate for what they would charge me to change my rotors if I wanted to get rid of the noise the breaks made. I have attempted to contact Cole European through their service page on two occasions and never heard back. Today, I spoke to the assistant manager who stated there was a typo on my invoice and they could not refund me for the service that states on the invoice I was charged for. This business is charging people for services they do not actually complete on vehicles. I no longer trust Cole European, and I would like them to refund me for the portion of the services I did not receive. I am ok with paying for the oil change, but they did not complete the service on my breaks.
