I took my 2011 *** to Industrial Auto Body Shop on 12/20/2021 for some body work after being sideswiped by a delivery truck and when I brought my car in everything worked in the car. I had turn signals-my windows rolled up and down-I had all interior functions working in the car. When I picked the car up on 01.05/22 None of these things worked! I had no turn signals or my windows would not roll up and down and I had no interior lights at all.***** (manager) told me that I should take the car to *** and have them fix it. I told him everything worked fine when I brought it in. He acted like it was my fault. I then remembered him saying to me that since he had to order me a new mirror on the passenger side of the car and when they installed it they would have to make sure the wires were connected right into the computer of the car. I think that when they installed the mirror they short circuited it and fried the module in the computer that handles those actions. I know they fried the module and don't want to take the blame for doing it. I have a friend who owns 2 ***s and he ran a diagnostic scan on the car and they fried the Footwell Module in the car and the cost of that at ****** is $2200.00 They must think because I own a *** I have a lot of money but my late husband bought the car in 2015 and after his death I inherited it and I wish he never bought it. I am a 73 year old woman living on Social Security and a pension and I can't afford $2200.--especially when I brought it into the body shop it was working fine. I feel they are just trying to get over on an elderly woman.I also want to inform you of what else the body shop did to me. When I brought the car in they told me that the car would be ready on 12/24/21 but when I called in they told me that when they took my car to the alignment shop they noticed that my 2 rear tires were getting bald and should be replaced.
