I was very upset with the way this company has treated my elderly parents. They have had the unit for less than 3 years and have had problems off the bat. My parents and I have both called several times to see why the unit did not cool the house. They would come and tell her it should work now. After 2 years passed of using a unit that felt like a swamp cooler that was purchased for over 10,000$ a maintenance person finally said, oh the unit needs freon. So my parents ( in their late 70s) were charged a couple hundred for freon/labor and talked into purchasing a maintenance check/filter change every six months deal.(more money) About 5 months later the same person comes back. Only 5 months later from purchasing the freon, the man told my parents oh there must be a leak because it needs freon. (again) He then went on to say there was a leak but it would be more time and money for him to locate it. He then gave them a bill amount of 270$, which my parents could not afford. (They are elderly living on a Social Security) My mother went on to tell him that she could not pay that. He got mad and left very angry. My almost 80 year old parents are now left with an air conditioner that has a leak, doesn't cool. 10,000$ plus in debt and a 350$ electric bill. I called the company to see if there was anything to help. I was told it would be another 400$ to try to locate the leak. They purchased in Sep of 2019 and the unit doesn't work. * *** **** ** *** *** ** ** ***** *** *** * ******* ** ** ** ************ ********* *** * ** **** ************* They went from a Mastercool to Refrigerated air so all the work and lines were done by this company so it should be quality work and there should not be problems like this with a new unit. So Sad **
