    On August 19/2023, we contacted CJ Plumbing and Heating to come clear a sewer line backup. They had been to our house just 4 days prior for the same purpose. The first visit resulted in a payment of $459.38. When they came back 4 days later, it was a Saturday and the on-call technician asked if we could wait till Monday but we said no because we needed to be able to flush toilets, use water over the weekend, etc. A technician arrived within a short time. The technician ran a camera in the main sewer clean out and noted significant sediment in the first 2-3 feet of the line which he felt likely caused the shower drain, etc. to back up. He ran the pressure line through and said the flow improved significantly. We were not provided a video of the camera work. We received an emailed invoice a few days later for the amount of $1588.12, most of it ($1237.50) for the Flush Truck callout!! (On a Saturday). When I read the invoice I phoned the office manager and said we disagreed with being charged the amount we were as they had just been to our house 4 days prior for the same work basically - to flush out the main sewer line and clear the shower drain downstairs. I also stated I would like to speak to the business owner (******) and was told by the office manager she would talk to him and then get back to me. We never heard back so I called again within a couple of days - still nothing. The Technician that was here the second time basically told us the job was not done in the proper order by the first Technician. We never heard back from the owner at all. On March 1/24, a charge showed up on my wife’s credit card for the amount of $1588.12. We did not authorize the charge/payment. We were not notified the business was going to do this. When I called the office manager said they considered the payment outstanding and that was why they put the charge through to our bank. Our bank was also contacted about the charges and a complaint was filed.
