    My wedding is July 22/23. We leave for *********** July 16/23 for the wedding. I told ****, the owner, my dates of departure when I had my dress fitting on May 23/23. I called June 20/23 to inquire after progress, **** said the dress was not started.I went into the shop on July 5/23. I told ********** was anxious and frustrated that the dress was not done. I wanted a date of completion. **** evaded the question. I told her that I would be back on July 12/23 if I did not hear from her beforehand to get the dress. I called the shop on July 11/23, the dress was still not complete. I told **** that I was upset and picking it up July 12/23 regardless of its completion. I did not trust that if there were any adjustments required at the final fitting that she would complete them before I left in 3 days. She did not acknowledge any inconvenience or how upset I was. She did not apologize for the situation she put me in. She charged me $300. I took the dress directly to another seamstress who identified that the bust and lace overlay was not sewn properly. **** botched the adjustments to my bust by cutting corners on her work. The seamstress had to undo most of the work completed by **** and redo it. So I was overcharged by **** who portrayed the dress as completed upon pick-up and I was treated very poorly and unprofessionally by ****. I am now having to pay twice for most of the work that I paid **** to do. The new seamstress is getting done in one afternoon what it took **** over 1.5 months to not complete or properly do. My Fianc spoke with **** on July 14/23 looking for a refund for the poor quality of work and the dress being unfinished. They acknowledged that no work had started on the dress before the week of the 3rd of July. Though they were aware of our departure date on July 16. They blamed me for not trying on the dress before taking it. **** wrote a cheque for a refund of $200, slapped it at my Fianc and told him to have a nice life in a condescending tone.
