Dont recommend! ******************************* wrong windshield was initially ordered. Delayed getting it in then had the new windshield replaced recently and they didnt seal it at the top on my truck thats not even a year old yet so not even a week after getting it installed tons of water came gushing through the middle area at the windshield out of the roof speaker, onto the dash speaker, down the touch screen/ buttons that control heat and onto the charging dock. So they had to order another one and reinstall it. Go to my dealership to have cameras recalibrated after the windshield install and they couldnt get their computer to read with modules on the truck well come to find out a module was shot. They dont typically see this! Well where the water had ran down is where the water would have been in the middle area of the dash and down in there is where modules sit and so they had to replace that. Well I had to come back because it wasnt in stock. Then when they were hooking that up they were getting other messages that told them two other modules would need replaced as of right now we have a claim open on this incident and my truck is in **** getting the dash ripped into to find any and all water damage so we can get whatever damage was done fixed! Hopefully we dont have long term issues from this but there was a ton of water!! Whats irritating the most is the owner made a comment to me after I showed him the video its hot it will air out. Wasnt apologetic for them making a huge mistake! Trusted them with my 9 month old truck! This shouldnt have happened. I wouldnt want this to happen to you- do not recommend this place!!!

    Shoshone Glass Inc. Response

In response to Mrs. ....... review. We did order the wrong part to begin with. There are many choices for vehicles now days and sometimes this can occur. We did seal the top of the windshield, however bubbles can occur in the urethane and leaks can occur. Mrs. ....... called us after running her vehicle through the car wash and said she had a leak. We asked her to stop by on her way home and we would get her in. She was most definitely apologized to by not only the owner but the installer as well as the office manager. We acknowledged we made a mistake, replaced the windshield again and told her if she had anymore problems that we would take care of them. The next time she called us (approximately 3 weeks later, she said she had been to a dealership 2 different times and had to have parts changed out. As soon as we heard, the owner responded to her and we never denied that the problem could have occurred from the water. We not only were in contact with her, but also her husband and the dealership. We called our insurance to take of any issues that they may have from this incident. Unfortunately none of this has been brought out in her review. This is not something anyone wanted to happen, but we are taking care of the matter.

    Customer Response

To reply back to SSG- I understand accidents happen, but one after another like that and the bigger issue were dealing with now being the water damage. It wasnt just a little clearly as **** still has our truck after a month. Inspecting it, finding more issues, having to order parts to now finishing the water damage for now who knows what will come out down the road.Initially, when a receptionist called me to inform me right after I dropped off the truck the first time for the install that the insurance had given them the wrong info for the windshield; as I was standing right there when the office manager had ordered it and it was pinned on the insurance instead - wasnt a good way to handle that. To clarify It was more than a leak. Videos will show that and the overall damage as well from **** soon and over time if anything else comes out. To be exact it was pitchers of water coming through as again the damage that **** has estimated shows it wasnt clearly just a leak and this should have been prevented if the job was done right and sealed. When your son looked it over he said there was a gap that wasnt sealed at the top. Ive had windshields replaced in the past and never would have imagined this happening; so its not common to not have it sealed. Someone didnt do their job. We dont even know the long term affects of this water damage; as there was a ton of water! Unfortunately, this water damage will now be on our car fax report as well! We have wasted so much time with this thats unnecessary. Ill correct that as well. The owner didnt just ask if Id bring it in he said if I brought it elsewhere for the water damage they wouldnt be paying for it. As Im having notifications pop up after the water hits the touchscreen see dealer. So thats where I wanted to bring it right away! Of course I brought it into you guys to inspect it per the owner (as it was just repaired a week prior) and I wasnt about to pay a dime out of pocket further for your mess up. Yet, we havent even got reimbursed for the module we paid out of pocket from over 6 weeks ago plus the diesel to get to two appts 460 miles all together plus to the shop and back twice from replacement windshields that shouldnt have happened at least 100 miles there plus totes that got stolen from back of our truck that weve already replaced, but happened after the initial water damage and the tailgate came open at ******* (from one of the faulty modules from the water damage). Per ****- Its been one thing after another! We arent paying for a dime out of pocket related to the water damage issues including diesel to get to these appts that weve used a whole tank over $100 worth of diesel plus the totes needing replaced. What a nightmare!!!!I will correct you on that too; I was most definitely not apologized by the owner and the office manager!! Haha. Get your facts straight and dont try and cover up your mess up thats huge and sugar coat anything. Thats whats irritating the most; especially after giving them business in the past as well. They both acted as if I was a burden and seemed disgusted about the situation like it was my fault. I did receive an apology from the son which was very wonderful and nice customer service along with him cleaning up all the water that was just sitting there that had continued to leak through from the time when I left ******* and drove to the shop. He apologized a couple times and was very professional about it, and sincere. Thats the only positive thing I have to say from this situation and dealing with this. As far as the actual owner no customer service skills whats so ever. After an incident like this they should show the best, but nope. As far as the initial phone call to the shop and how I was greeted there after the water damage by the owner like he was irritated about it; plus when I picked up the truck after the last windshield install the owner wasnt professional. I had to handle the situation and ask, so if theres future water issues from this you guys will be covering it. Then when I was trying to get in for an appointment for the reinstall after the water damage that was a headache as well, because I had one choice for a time and had to move my schedule around to make it work with theirs. Which was inconvenient with kids, but of course I made it happen because I didnt want any more issues after seeping through cracks and the gap. When I contacted the shop about needing parts for this issue per the dealership - wasnt even offered a reimbursement for the first one which was a chunk! It may have been turned to your insurance (after you spoke to my husband) and you realized how serious the issue really was & heard the numbers of the first module amount needing replaced.I may have not mentioned it in the initial review that you guys turned it over to insurance directly, but I said we had an open claim (same thing), but yes you did do that. And yes you did communicate with my husband and I after we reached out to you about this ongoing incident with the windshield/ water damageThe issue is it shouldnt havent happened! We trusted in you guys to do a simple fix on our $90,000 truck thats not even a year old - its sickening we shouldnt be dealing with this (Ive never heard of anyone dealing with this) and we still dont have our truck back. Thanks!!!!! Water damage will be on our water report as well as mentioned above - we will be dealing with **** when we get home and your ins company to figure out a reliable vehicle with no water damage!! Again, imagine if this was your vehicle dealing with this its been a nightmare and not even close to being done!!!!!!
