Blue Compass dropped my Momentum toy hauler before I bought it and didn't tell me. There was a big gash in the back panel, but they said that it would be fixed when they picked it up to spray the interior and exterior protection that I had paid extra for. They ended up being able to fix it before we bought the *** but when the driver came to pick my ** up we noticed some puncture holes in the panel on either side of the hitch. At that point,the driver said, "I know this trailer" and when I questioned him about it, he said, "I can't tell you or I will lose my job". After that, we realized that several things were broken. There was (and still is 10 months later) a big leak in our black tank, leaks up front near where the puncture holes were, the fuel station does not work, the heat doesn't work (the propane heat and our little fireplace), the bracket on the solar panels are broken, the control panel for the ez **** does not work, and I had to throw away the mattress that came with it less than two months after I bought the ** because there was mold all over the bottom of it. I had called to see if they had sprayed the interior mold protection after they had brought it back because I realized that our toothbrushes and other personal items had been in the ** when they had it and I was told then that the girl would not have sprayed it if we had things in there. Many months later, when I mentioned the mold, I was told that they had actually gone ahead and sprayed it because it was on the work order. When they took the ** in at the end of March,they fixed the front panel, gave me a work-around with the black tank (that has been a nightmare), and did not even fix the leaks in the pipes. I had asked to go and see underneath the panel because the driver had told me that moisture could get up in there, and I expected to see the mold and moisture coming from under the panel. Blue compass told me that they would not let me in there, but would send pictures. That was months ago, and I have not received any. I have also asked for information on what they were going to do, and when. Nothing. The new mattress I bought was also destroyed by mold and I am a single Mom that has had two surgeries and radiation (for recurring tumors in my head) in the past 10 months and had to live in this nightmare with my two young girls with no heat over the winter.
In December, right after I had spent a week in a hospital 3 hours away, I called Blue Compass to let them know we didn't have heat. They said,"Sorry, we don't have a service guy here, so you are going to need to bring it in." It was zero degrees and black ice all the way to the dealership 45 minutes away. Luckily, I ended up calling ************ instead and they were much more kind and said that if I could get someone out there, they would reimburse me. However, when I was dealing with these issues in December, I was on the phone with the service guy who asked one of the other service guys about if the panel with the puncture holes had been ordered and the guy asked which one, and the guy that I was talking with on the phone said, "It's the one (**) that was dropped". That was when my fears were confirmed. They had dropped my ** and did not tell me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
