Within the last 2 months I have received advertising mail from Bluecross Blueshield of Montana, **** ***** *** ****** ** *****. The duplicate advertising mail goes to my home address as well as my PO Box. I have spent hours trying to have my name removed from their mailing list. The representatives I called had no knowledge about any mailing list, they were extremely rude and combative, offered no help whatsoever and simply did not care. I researched the online Bluecross Blueshield of Montana web sites, called the provided phone numbers (no one ever actually answered), left several voice messages (with my phone number as instructed) asking for help and received no call back. I have a legal right to ask that my name and address be removed from any unsolicited company's mailing list. I am registered with DMAchoice provided by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA). Personally, I have had my name removed from the mailing lists of several different companies. The process was easy and only took a few minutes. It appears Bluecross Blueshield is not interested in having anyone removed from their obnoxious mailing lists.
