Rapid Roofing replaced my roof. It only took them about 7 hours. They arrived on time and were very friendly. They left nails all over the yard and they left a tarp that ended up getting stuck in the power lines. They eventually came out to clean it up. I discussed replacing the soffits with the sales rep and they did not perform the job. He stated he would work with his team and get back to me. He never got back to me. They only replaced the roof. When I contacted Rapid Roofing they stated their sales rep would give me a call...I never got a call. Now I have a new roof with old wooden soffits that still need to be replaced.

Our sales representative, *****, was the person who originally worked with ************** on his roofing project. The initial proposal that ***** wrote up actually did include a bid item for replacing the soffits on the house, but the final signed contract did not include any additional scope of work for replacing soffits. The roof was installed on 3/20/2024. As ************** said, there were a few issues that did arise after the installation of his new roof, but we came back out in a timely manner and addressed the issues. From our understanding, the homeowner was happy with our work and happy with his new roof. One of our employees, *****, reached out to ************** on 5/2/2024 to try and collect the final payment for the work that we had done, which was to be paid upon completion. This is when ************** made us aware that he wanted to work with us and have us come out and replace his soffits too. At this point, we still had not been paid for the roof installation and we wanted to collect the final payment for the work that had been done. Upon our attempt to collect the final payment for the work that we did, ************** stated that he wanted to pay us the remaining balance of his roof installation by paying a payment plan. The customer did not use financing for the job and a payment plan without financing is not something we would ever do. We tried for weeks to collect the final balance, and ***** was eventually able to get ahold of ************** on 6/7/2024 and he agreed to pay us his remaining balance in full, but also expressed that he would be leaving us a bad review on our BBB page because of his experience with our company.

When I found an area of shingles blown off the front of my home's roof in March of 2024, and with severe storms being forecasted for the coming weeks, I called my homeowners insurance to ask about assistance protecting my home. My agent informed me that the age of the existing roof (25 years) excluded State Farm from financing repair. I asked for advice for getting reputable work done. Rapid Roofing in **** had just completed a job for a very satisfied client of the office, and I was given the contact information. A phone call to RR that afternoon got me a roof inspection and consultation by **** immediately the next morning. His assessment was thorough and without any pressure to overinvest. I explained my concern about the risk of damage to my interior if the weather turned as predicted and the exposed hole remained. **** assured me that he would seal up the exposed area himself rather than delay getting a crew together, and the next morning there he was up on the roof tightly covering the gap. In fact, the actual replacement was on pause forced by snow and heavy winds, but my house stayed tight and dry. And the day of the replacement with new roof for house and garage was done by a great crew under the supervision of *****, keeping me informed through the conclusion of the job. One minor complication was that after all workers were gone, I found I had no power to the garage. I contacted ****, and over the phone, he troubleshot the flipped circuit breaker, and with the kelp of a neighbor, (tall enough to reach my fuse box) power restored! From the first call to the office to the last look at the pictures of my fine new roof, this was a great experience. Incidentally, I compared the paperwork from the roof work done 25 years ago, and it was 2x increase in 25 years, with much better materials and better gutter protection applied. Very pleased with the choice I made to select Rapid Roofing of *********. E. *******************************

This company called and made an appointment to come to my home on April 5, 2022, between the hours of 12p - 1pm to fix the shoddy roof job that their crew carelessly installed. When I asked to speak with the owner, ***** stated, "the owner doesn't want to speak with me, nor will they be coming out to make the repairs to my home until I take the review down." With the cost of a full roof installation, I paid for a 25yr warranty. Instead of fixing what they did wrong they are trying to downplay how rude they are and continue to be because I want my roof done properly. They are continuously trying to diminish my complaint by responding in the review that they have tried to work with me, and they haven't. This company has put all my business in the review about how I came about getting the money and how much I received for a complete roof and gutters installation. Their only concern should be that they got paid when the job was complete and pleasing their customers. The only way to work with me is to repair the piece they broke off my house due to carelessness from obviously unlicensed crew workers. Also, fixing the hump they left on my roof which causes the tiles to stick up and the pipe they broke and shoved through the drywall in my upstairs ceiling. Going back and forth with me in the reviews doesn't show that they are trying to work with me, because they could be spending that time doing the repairs. To add to this complaint this is the second appointment they made and didn't keep. ****, the project manager said he would have someone come in ******* to fix the part they broke off the house after he pretended that he was going to fix it himself when he came to get the final payment for the job. I shouldn't have to take my review down in order for Rapid Roofing to honor my contract. My money business being displayed in the reviews is a clear indication that this company can't be trusted with your information or honoring their contracts. I hope this helps someone.

Good afternoon, ********************. Im saddened to hear that you believe that our ongoing attempts to help you and alleviate all the problems with the exterior of your home. We do keep track of all phone calls in and out as well as all time sheets for work spent by our employees, starting with the first phone call to our company. This is what I have found: You first called on 3/12/21 at 2:34 pm requesting a quote for a new roof and gutters because "I have squirrels getting into my home". A welcome email was sent to you on 3/12/21 at 2:37 pm, along with a frequently asked questions video. On 3/16/21 at 10:00 am, your consultant, *************************, met with you to go over the problems that you were having. You explained to **** that you had an ongoing financial hardship and needed financial help. **** and RR agreed to do what they could to help you. Over the next several months, **** spent a recorded 6 hours over a period of 6 months helping you through the process with the VA. By doing so, **** and RR were able to get the VA to pay for $13,000.00 of the total cost of your restoration. During this time, our records show that we had verbal and email contact on these days. 5/4/21 at 11:59 am 5/26/21 at 12:47 pm 6/22/21 at 3:10 pm 6/22/21 at 3:32 pm 8/13/21 at 12:43 pm 8/16/21 at 7:19 pm 9/16/21 at 3:37 pm 9/29/21 at 9:36 am 10/2/21 at 9:00 am 10/21/21 at 2:10 pm 10/25/21 at 8:46 am, ******************** called to leave a statement that "you were going to go with another company because no one had been in contact with you." ******************** also threatened a negative review. Please keep in mind that the previous several months were spent working to get the VA to cover the majority of the cost of your roof. On 11/3/21 at 11:34 am, ******************** sent an email to **** that ******************** felt like she was being left out and it didnt look good for RR reviews. 11/3/21, 12:36 p.m.******************** was moved ahead of several homeowners "with their permission" to the week of 11/15/21 to help a ** Veteran out. They all happily agreed. On 11/11/21 at 12:04 pm, ******************** was contacted for an installation date of 11/16/21. Material was ordered from *** Supply at 12:26 pm. On 11/11/21 at 12:26 pm, confirmation was emailed to ******************** to confirm the start date. On 11/15/21 at 3:02 am, an email was automatically generated to confirm material delivery by *** Supply on 11/16/21 am delivery. On 11/16/21 at 9:17 am, **** arrived at the jobsite to verify all work being performed on the contract with the onsite Project ******** ***** ******************** was notified that due to the condition of her home, her soffit material was crumbling and falling during fascia replacement. On 11/18/21 at 6:51 am, an email was sent to **** confirming the roof and fascia boards were replaced and gutters were on order. On 12/2/21 at 5:27 pm, ******************** called asking about gutter installation. She was informed that aluminum gutter material was on back order and we would get them installed as soon as possible. Again, ******************** threatened to leave a negative ****** review for moving her ahead of other customers and getting her roof and fascia boards installed. On 12/10/21, gutters were installed. On 12/18/21 at approximately 12:30 pm, notes state: **** met with ********************, customer, and paid her small balance owed while waiting on VA for her balance. On 12/22/21, RR received final payment from the VA. On 1/19/21 at 5:32 am, ******************** left a nasty review after the months spent working with ******************** and the VA. RR and **** have made several more visits to ************************ home and have even agreed to spend unpaid hours of labor to fix the problems. All of this is unrelated to our original scope of work if ******************** would simply assist with the cost of the material. ******** has again refused and left yet another nasty review, this time claiming racial discrimination. As we mentioned to ******************** yesterday, we are unable to help her until she removes the reviews that are untrue. RR and **** have gone well beyond anything even remotely reasonable to resolve the issues with your home. This is the first time in 23 years that we have been unable to resolve an issue with a homeowner. Im again saddened that we were unable to meet your expectations. **** Beaty
