    Kaftan Enterprise Communities has refused to provide me with legal documentation and are stating that I owe an outstanding balance on a lease agreement which I did not sign between the years of November 2019-2022. This outstanding balance is currently on my credit report which has caused distress and lost of housing. I would like a correction to my report and I would like obtain recovery for damages.

    Kaftan Enterprises / Kaftan Communities is one of the most negligent property management companies in the metro Detroit Area. They mask their horrible reviews and absent customer service with false illusions of what you'll receive. Their advertising and customer service reps are skilled at overpromising and underdelivering. I do not recommend anyone stay at any property regardless of location because if and when you have any issue, it will not be resolved. They will make it where you'll be counting down the days until your lease is up. Trust me. Do not put your hard-earned money into this company. You will regret it the minute any issue arises, no matter how small/significant.

    While we do understand the frustration communicated within this complaint we do disagree. Kaftan Enterprises take pride and making sure our communities are well maintained. Any concerns brought to managements attention are responded to promptly and resolved efficiently. Upon the reviewers contacting our office on Saturday 8/13/2022 to submit their concern action/communication was taken promptly to address the issue. It was communicated that we would contact our vendor to address these issues as soon as possible. Follow up communication was then executed Monday 8/15/2022 with the resident as the reviewer did verbally confirm not being a resident of the community. When the manager spoke with the resident regarding the reviewers concerns, they did confirm the concern was true but communicated that they had no intentions of making a complaint as the resident. Resident also confirmed that the reviewer was not a resident just a visitor. Manager had communicated to resident the steps that would be taken to address the issue promptly. As the proper processes were taken and communicated, we do not feel this complaint to be fair or true. Thank you,

    A rat infestation on the premises where residents and visitors are exposed to dangerous and infectious diseases has nothing to do with a resident/visitor status. The fact that you all continue to make that the basis of your argument shows just how negligent you are. The fact that a rat literally approached me as I was entering your property wasn't a concern for you. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. The only thing that is unfair or dishonest in this review is your comment about the resident never stating that this was ever an issue. In fact, he has contacted the city directly. You should be embarrassed or have some level of shame to operate a company with over 20 locations and your average ****** review is 3.3 stars. Read any review or comment on any of your properties and you will see that this review is 100% valid.Also, this is not the first issue the resident, my boyfriend, has had. He 100% agrees with this review and helped me write it. Incident #1 Your company promised him a new carpet when he moved in and he never received it. When he tried to notify ******, she told him she was coming back from a "mental break". How is this relevant? She made his problem feel insignificant and like an easygoing man, he dropped it. He lays blankets on this filthy carpet before sitting down. He is uncomfortable in his own apartment. Incident #2 - A maintenance person walked into his home unannounced while he was sleeping. He feels like there is nothing he can do in these situations. Powerless in fact. I could go on and on, but I won't because these issues don't affect me. What does affect me is rats attacking me.
