O Stars...if I could give them (-10) I would...when checking in was told they upgraded our room to a King *********** room because it was our 50th wedding anniversary..didn't realize they were charging us for the upgrade!...Room was old...AC barely works..******* was filthty...actually had dirt ring from last use...mildew, mold around the tub and faucets.Website says there is a restaurant listed under ammenities...there is not...The Lighthouse is across the street...gave us a coupon for breakfast there...2 eggs potatoes. bacon...$18.99!!!...3 pancakes $18.99..service was rude...coffee was horrible...front desk suggested The Hook ( found out owned by the same family)for dinner mediocore food..service was awful...when I told the server that my husband's dinner said it included **** slaw she brought a small container and actually threw it on the table and walked away. On the morning of day **** I found out that we had a family issue in Brighton, my husband went to the front desk and spoke with them and they told him we had missed the cancelation date and we would be charged for all 3 nights...he asked if there was someone else he could talk with and they gave him the number of corporate...he called them and was told they didn't care and stood by the decsion of the front desk( also how we found out we were being charged an additional $50 a night for an upgrade !!!.) We are senior citizens and planned our vacation on a budget!!!As members of The American Legion we stopped there for a drink and asked for restaurant recommendations...they sent us to the Keyhole...excellent food and service...talking with locals and heard horfible stories about the Leigho family and how they have ruined *************...we will never come back and we will make sure we will tell everyone we can and post on every social media site how awful our experience was...and will be contesting our charges with my credit card company!!! Don't understand how the Better Business has given them an A
