    I had a sales person come to my home on September 09-19-2022 to get a quote for counter tops I then decided to go ahead and get them, I spent 4 grand on them on a credit card they opened for me through green sky, they told me they would only charge the credit card half the payment for a down payment same day and the other half when I received the product, they scheduled me 6 weeks out bc they were waiting for the counter when it was time of installation I had an emergency and had to go out of town they said they would reschedule I told them I am home Wednesdays and thursdays multiple times and they kept scheduling days I was not home at one point I was home along with my brothers and they scheduled to come out they said they were at my home and left but they never came I have a ring doorbell and when I called and told her no one came she argued with me we rescheduled again and they came out to install the counters but couldnt bc they never removed the old counter tops at this point I tried asking for a refund and they told me they dont give refunds bc of the contract I signed but they also broke that bc they charged me for both payments when I never received the product they keep pulling my leg and not getting anywhere and at this point I want the money back so Im not paying 4k on a credit card that I didnt receive any product from:

    Do your homework, do not use Kurtis Kitchen and Bath for any of your projects in your house.Last summer my wife hired Kurtis ***** to completely remodel the main bathroom in our house. This was a project my wife was wanting done for many years. I was not able to help my wife with looking for a Qualified, Professional Contractors to complete this project. I was dealing with elderly parents in and out of the Hospital every week and unfortunately my mother ended up passing away later in that summer 2023. One of the reasons my wife decided to go with Kurtis K and B was because she was told this remodel would only take a couple weeks, this was not the case it ended up taking around 3 months. We had issues with the drain in the shower being plugged up because the guy doing the tile work put all the grout clean up down the drain, plugging the drain completely. Kurtis would not complete the paint work on the bathroom after installing the *********** in the whole bathroom. When I asked Kurtis why they are not completing the job all I got was silly excuses. after paying over 40k for a 8 foot by 7 foot bathroom, nothing special at all. The only tile work in this bathroom is in the walk in shower, so why so much? Just a few years earlier we were quoted 15-17K.I don't want my wife to feel bad, so I just want to warn others to get multiple quotes and go to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and read the experiences. Read the customer experience's, most are True. People are not going to take the time to write down what happen to them if it were not true.Now, I have had multiple calls into Kurtis ***** (***** **.) because the shower door is not closing correctly and is allowing water on the floor. It's been two weeks and still no call back.

    This client contracted with Kurtis to have a partial bathroom remodeled. Our contract is over 25 pages long and is incredibly detailed listing every task that Kurtis will be completing. The client was unhappy that we were not providing wall painting services even though it was clearly conveyed that we do not offer painting services. Regarding the drain blockage that the client is referring to; this is completely false. Kurtis did NOT put any refuse down the shower drain. This was clearly and irrefutably shown to the client when we hired ******** Services to not only cable this drain from the roof but put a camera down the main line to discover where and what was causing the blockage. The camera clearly showed that the primary sewer drain is completely filled with roots something cause by mother nature. We advised them that we would take care of any issues we caused BUT if the issued were not caused by Kurtis, which was the finding, they as the homeowners would be responsible for the plumbing bill, which they did not pay. Ultimately, this client is unhappy because he was not present for any of the planning and contract meetings and his wife signed a detailed contract with scope of work that he didnt understand (apparently didnt read the contract his wife signed and brought home with her) many months AFTER the signing. Regarding project time line our staff is trained to provide realistic project time lines on the front end sales process. This client was clearly told on the front end that construction is never an exact science and timelines can be disrupted by findings after project demo that cause the need for further works and unavoidable delays as such. Our contracts are never timed and when Kurtis must perform further effort and spend more time on a project to enact a contract/plan often we do so for no project price increase to satisfy the client this was the case on this particular job.
