****************. Says they cover something, then come up with a shady reason it is not covered via 'semantics'. They dont have the consumer best interest .. they are fraud.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc. Response

Hello *******, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The contract provides assistance in the event of the breakdown of specific items due to normal wear and tear. It does not cover everything, and it may not cover the entire cost of repair or replacement of a covered item. We would like to make sure that your unit is fully functional and working as it should. Your contractor said that adding refrigerant will not stop the leak, and we are looking to assist with the repair of your heat pump, so that the unit is no longer leaking refrigerant. Terrible company. I have bad experiences with them since I started with them. Since last 2-3 years, they have rejected all my claims for one reason or another. They continue to find a way to reject, even after agreeing to pay pennies against actual cost. It's scam to grab money and not pay anything for any repairs. My well is not working. Have spent an hour trying to reach their claim department and it acts as though they have closed the doors. Is this a scam that takes my money monthly. Thank God the seller paid for this as part of closing - absolutely a waste of money.The customer service reps will ask questions of your tech until they get them to say something that will invalidate the claim. (Basically anything except the exact phrase "wear and tear due to old age" - AND NOTHINGELSE) .If you don't already have this warranty go somewhere else.America's Preferred Home Warranty, Inc. Hello ******,Thank you for taking the time to submit your review.Per the terms and conditions of the warranty: during a service call, if no covered failure is discovered or repaired, the homeowner is responsible for the entire cost, including labor.Upon review of your account, I see that you had two concealed plumbing claims. The first was not approved because the cause of failure was the improper tightening of the **trap that lead to it leaking. Also, on your snaking claim the technician told us that they were unable to clear the blockage. Therefore, we are unable to assist with these claims.The warranty offers coverage on a wide range of items throughout the home and attached garage that add further value. The warranty terms and conditions advise that Covered Item means those items shown to be covered on the Confirmation Page, which must be:c. Located within the main perimeter of the main foundation of the Covered Home or within an attached garage as of the Contract Start Date. When you opened your claim, you stated it was the dryer that failed, and you advised the **************** Representative that you brought your dryer with you from your previous home. Per the terms and conditions, the dryer is not covered.
