Our project with ******************* was an absolute nightmare. It started out ok, he was nice, seemed capable, and had reasonable quote on our first project to fix some vent covers in our ceiling. This project should have taken a day at most, did not require any special tools/supplies of skills. He dragged our project out over 6 weeks. Most of the time he just wouldn't show up when he said he would and never let us know. It would often take him days to respond to us with more excuses. When he was on site, he never had all the stuff he needed and often had to leave to 'get stuff' and sometimes just never came back. When he was working it was very slow with frequent extended trips to his truck and lots of complaining, telling me this was more work than he expected. I was very clear with some of the challenges with our vents that some of them had gaps between the ducts and the vents that needed to be addressed to reduce heat loss. He didn't want to wear a mask in my home after I asked him arguing with me that masks are no longer needed. My elderly mother lives with me and I didn't want to take any chances with her health. He would try to expand the scope of what I asked him to do without discussing with me first telling me this is better, saying he bought supplies already without being able to provide receipts. His work made a lot of mess including old screws lying around that he didn't clean up. His nice demeanor disappered shortly after starting the project. He would raise his voice, angry tone and talk over me verging on shouting me down. I felt like I was being bullied in my own home. He tried to change the quote for no legitimate reason, claiming that he had spent days tracking down supplies that you can pick up at any ********** or ******. He also tried to get me to pay this extra amount before the project was completed, promising that he would finish it the next day. Since this was unlikely to happen given the history over the previous 6 weeks, I suggested that the pro
