I had a wonderful moving experience with this company. **** was quick to reply to my quote inquiry and help schedule my moving date. On my moving day I had **** and ********* as my movers . These gentlemen were fantastic. They were very professional, handled my furniture with care and had my pieces packed and unlocked within a little over 2 hours. In my new home they checked to make sure everything was put where I wanted it. I would highly recommend them for moving.Review from L. S.

I would never, ever move with this company again. Steer clear.Even after bringing up issues with my move, no one at this company had the decency to even say "this is not the service we aim to provide and I am sorry this was your experience." They just shoved me into a review process and within 24 hours said they would not be refunding me for the blatant issues with my move. Not only was the move done carelessly, but they truly do not care about customer service. I understand things can happen in a move, thats life. But to not take any responsibility for it, is shocking to me. 1. Despite buying over 30 mattress bags (to be used for things other than mattresses as well), our master bedroom mattress was not put in a bag, and neither was my son's mattress. While his mattress seems to be ok, ours is incredibly dirty and stained. The movers knew about these mattress bags because other items were placed in them, so it is really unclear to me how they missed such an important step.************ for our dining room table and guest bed were not attached to the furniture once they were disassembled. My husband even gave them ziploc bags to use for these things, but they were not attached to the furniture like most movers do. This led to us paying an extra hour for our movers to look for the bolts ($149). They still have not been found.3. Our entryway table leg was chipped. 4. 6 of the same dining room chairs were all treated different ways. 2 were kind of wrapped, 1 had wrapping just around the top, and 3 were left completely unwrapped. I would never want to put my name behind this kind of service, so I am shocked anyone would want to. I understand there are always things that come up in a move.. that's life. But to not even acknowledge it.. I can't comprehend.Affordable Moving & Storage, Inc. Response

Hi *****, It seems that after our conversations with you and email chain with facts showing that a lot of what has been said here is fabricated. You continue to claim that 30 mattress bags were purchased from us. To reiterate you did not purchase mattress bags from us. You purchased 12 moving blankets on your own and we sold you 18 of ours (we can provide receipts showing this) after you were advised to buy a minimum of 50 during the booking process in order for the move to be done the way we do all of our moves. You proceeded to tell us on your day before pre call after you had 5 weeks to prepare for the move that you only had those 12 blankets to load 2 16ft pods that we clearly told you form the beginning were not enough. We then did our best to accommodate by selling 18 of our moving pads to you even though we do not offer them for sale because they are our own inventory for anyone moving into their own storage facility, using Pods, or any other service outside of ours. ( I can provide the email from you stating you would purchase your own mattress covers, boxes, moving pads.) We set aside two 6-8 hour days for our men to be out there. You released them from your home both days halfway through. You signed both days accepting the services and the load into the ***** As we say in the booking process, you are the director of your move and we are a hourly moving company and our men work upon direction, they would not leave halfway through an estimate unless they were instructed to. Nor would we represent our company that way. To conclude everything:Our men did the best with the information, preparation and equipment you provided as a customer and ultimately you signed accepting the work for both days. To be clear on the difference of a mattress bag and a moving pad is that a mattress bag is a clear, plastic covering that goes over the whole mattress and a moving pad is used to protect furniture not used for mattresses.Customer Response

The fact that this company is accusing me of fabrication is horrendous.1. ****, my original contact, has never called me back. Never once picked up the phone after I have called him to discuss the issues with my move. Instead he is just responding to public reviews.2. I am not pushing back for a refund. I simply am asking that this company acknowledge that I did not receive the level of service they aim to provide. They refuse to acknowledge that.3. I know the difference between a mattress bag and a packing blanket. I purchased both.4. When I spoke to **** before my move, I told him I purchased moving blankets and mattress bags. He said his guys would bring more blankets, and that I could purchase more if I needed them. He warned me that they would cost more than what I would spend, and I said it wasn't a problem. Clearly it wasn't. I purchased 18. If I needed 50, why did I only buy 18? Clearly money was not an issue here.In the end, you can see for yourselves that this company will not accept any responsibility for the issues in this move. I'm not asking for a full refund. From the beginning, I have said I wish I received better customer service when I called to discuss an issue with my move. Just someone acknowledging that hey... maybe this didn't go as well as we would have hoped. But unfortunately, their level of customer service has not matured to that level yet. Our company has been servicing over **** customers per year for 30+ years. We have always done right by our customers and will continue to do so. We also have an email of you immediately demanding money before any conversation with us took place that we can provide. We always have an open communication if you would like to further talk pleasantly without making remarks towards our employees over the phone. In regards to who you speak with at our office, there are specific people whose job is to deal with the claim process.Review from Alex G

Incredible experience! ******* and ********* were the two who moved me into ************. I couldnt have asked for better guys to ease the stress of moving . On top of that, they are extremely affordable. I would highly recommend!!Review from Brea E

Forest, AT, K and **** did a phenomenal job. They made our move so easy and seamless and had the best attitudes through it all. They made light during rather stressful situations and made the dreadful process fun! So friendly and trustworthy. Id recommend them 10/10 times. Thank you Affordable Moving & Storage!
