Zero stars isn't an option. I will be registering a complaint with the BBB. Went in for overall safety check first week of June after being rear ended. Approved them to fix both "high and low" priority issues:$4000. It took 4 visits and a complaint to owner ***** to get the right parts/complete job. FF to Nov - rear shock breaks. Another shop says there might be frame damage; I need to go back to the original shop. Newly hired "Jeep expert" they've hired to resolve similar issues gets Jeep on lift. Says no frame damage. Rear shock failed because of rusted pin, and "someone" installed the wrong shocks on the front. His condescending tone changed when I asked him to look at the list of repairs I'd already paid for and that the "failed shocks" were brand new. All American put the wrong shocks on. So he made me a "deal" where I only paid "at cost" for new front shocks - plus two new rear shocks" plus "at cost" labor to replace all four shocks. $700. Another day off of work- for the 5th time. 5 days pay lost. ******* promised my vehicle would be right, he'd check the work previously done by the next day. Then the end of day phone call - someone sent "the wrong parts." Again. I have to bring it back again. So I get under the Jeep to check things out in their driveway...and the muffler is leaking water. I call ******* outside and ask him about it. It was not leaking when I brought it in. He insists it's been leaking - I just didn't notice it and points out some black marks he calls rust as evidence that it's been leaking for a while. If so, why wasn't a leaky muffler on the original repair list - or pointed out to me the day before when the Jeep was on the lift. He says, "so I guess I'm going to replace your entire exhaust system now" in this sarcastic tone - implying that I'm the problem here, trying to take advantage of them? Who knows if my car is even safe. Lawyer next? Owner hasn't called me back as requested.Single female. Yeah.
