I am writing to bring to your attention a problem with the Chase Credit Card team and the shocking lack of compassion and humanity shown to me. I have two other chase bank credit cards and signed up for the Sapphire Preferred card under the promotion to get 60,000 points by spending $4,000 in three months. Unfortunately, my mother became critically ill, and I had to move to Massachusetts to provide in-home hospice care. The expectation was that my mom would only live for two to three weeks. Instead, I had to provide hospice care for four months until she passed away on August 26. The credit card was mailed to our Florida home, so it took some time to get the card to me, Over the three months I spent $4,041.07 cents. I did lose track of time with the pressure I was facing and may have missed the exact deadline by a few days. Twice I called the customer service line and basically was told that the agent could not help me but would forward the concern to the right source. No one ever called me back. Instead, I got a letter on my chase account saying sorry I missed the deadline. I had a similar situation with United Airlines when I had to cancel flights. The difference being United asked for medical documentation and with that showed total compassion and refunded air tickets for my husband and for myself. Chase asked for nothing. My husband and I are both Chase account holders and I also hold multiple Chase credit cards. I am asking that you have staff review this situation and hopefully reconsider their heartless decision. Thank you for your consideration.Review from Mayra R

I booked a flight through Chase travel agent, when I got to the airport, Southwest Airlines reported there was NO flight. The Airline reported they had nothing to do with this, that is was the travel agents failure to notified the customer, meanwhile I was left with no flight and with no option but to buy another flight. Chase Travel Agent had me on the phone for several hours, they report there is nothing they can do! Absolutely the worse. Southwest blames them, they blame Southwest.Review from Jm B

Chase Freedom took funds out of my account without my permission. They had me on the phone for over 2 hours. One department telling me the money would be refunded then switched to a different department who said they could not refund the money. This continued for literally 2 hours. All trying to convince me I approved the withdrawal on August 7th. I explained my health condition and that I couldn't and didn't schedule a payment. I have had the card for over 6 years and had not been late or skipped a payment before my health declined. I told them in previously about my health and situation.Review from tarr f

I chose the Sapphire Reserve for its travel benefits, but unfortunately, this is outrageous. I opened a credit card in May, and it was used for fraudulent transactions in June. I called in July and the money was returned. I received a new card in August and used it again, and the fraudulent transactions appeared again. I called Chase and they provided the fraud part, but the fraud said they couldn't prove that I didn't use the card myself, and they needed me to provide a report from either the police or the place it received the moneyReview from Netosha M

I have been banking with Chase for over 30 years and have never had an issue until visiting this branch. The experience was extremely inconvenient. The teller questioned me about my address and account number, disregarding the fact that the account number was clearly written on the check where I had endorsed it. This transaction took place on a Saturday and they “could not cash the check which was from a local entity,” but they could only deposit it and it wouldn’t be available until Monday. (I’ve always had direct deposit but my new employer sends a paper check for the first payment.) They could’ve handled the situation much better, and I will be looking for another banking institution to do business with. I was extremely disappointed by this occurrence.Review from Jim C

As a senior citizen, I fell prey by Chase Amazon Credit Card company. I had to spend days in a period of 2,5 months to resolve a credit from my return authorized by Amazon Customer Service. Amazon insisted I had to wait for the UPS driver to pick up the return item. UPS driver provided me a proof of pickup receipt after scanning the RMA bar code provided by Amazon. I disputed the charge of $435.41 which remained in my account. After I provided proof of the UPS drive pickup receipt with UPS tracking number and 2 customer reference numbers from Amazon UPS pickup receipt, this group of Indians insisted that the charge was valid. I had to track my returned package from UPS.com and provided them the proof of delivery by to Amazon warehouse LASZ 2, in Las Vegas, NV. This group of Indians like scammers still insisted that the charge was valid. I had to resort to Consumer Finance, BBB, and California Consumer Affairs to help. All these were very draining for me and I would think it would be felt by other seniors and busy Amazon Customers alike. After 2.5 hours and days calling Chase Amazon Credit group and Amazon, it went nowhere and no response as they promised I would receive email replies from Amazon in 24 to 48 hours. Finally, justice prevailed and Chase Amazon Credit card and Amazon issued a full credit. Amazon Credit Card. Amazon implemented phone system and online order processing system to prevent customers from contacting them. There was no way to contact their higher management and decision makers. Chase Amazon Credit Card and Amazon exploit the vulnerable seniors and all their customers alike by implementing phone and online systems and hire cheap Indian customer service people to take advantage of their customers to discourage them and give up their rightful claims. BEWARE OF THEIR EXPLOITATION AND AVOID BEING THEIR PREYS ! THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES LIKE WALMART, TARGET, SAM'S CLUB, OR DIRECT PURCHASE FROM THE MANUFACTURERS IN USA.Review from Dj B.

I was into the local 13th Ave branch and had to leave because a store employee was chasing me across the store repeating how can we help you how can we help you about 10 inches away getting in my face with a harassing tone . Please let people walk up to the teller like every other bank in town At this bank you get treated like criminal in a prison that was just found outside of his cell . I have since changed business account to a different bank verry inappropriate and uncalled forReview from Zizo B

I ordered an item online on around May 26 2024, I was charged for it and i received an empty box, I am writing to request your help to remove this charge from my credit card in the amount of $765.71. I let FedEx know right away that the package they delivered contains an empty box. I emailed the merchant and let them know that the package i received is empty. The merchant never responded. I contact chase by phone and filed a dispute letting them know that the package i received was empty. On June 18 at 6:08 PM I called chase and spoke to a chase representative who confirmed that the dispute is processed and completed, and a credit of $765.71 is posted to my account permanently. I traveled overseas on6/21and returned to the US on 7/17. I had no access to my account information while overseen when i returned i then found out that the disputed amount was charge back to my account I called chase and was told to send a letter to reopen the dispute and any documents I have. On July 19th 2024 i faxed a letter explaining what happened again, a picture of the empty box i received and supporting documents. I called chase few times after i sent the fax and was told that they are working to resolve my dispute. I called on July 29th 2024 and was told that the dispute was declined and i need to send another letter for them to reopen it, I faxed the 2nd letter on July 31 asking chase to conduct a thorough investigation regarding this charge in the amount of $765.71. I let chase know that I will not pay this charge! I never received the item that I was charged for, for that reason I will not be paying for it. On 08/10/2024 I called chase to check on the progress of my dispute and was told that the chase determined that the charge is valid. Chase has informed me on the phone on June 18 at 6:08 PM that the dispute was final, and the credit of $765.71 is mine. I have evidence of the call. I don't know why they put the charge back on my account. PLEASE HELP. Thank you.Review from Jeffrey D

Without giving me a reason (later revealed) Chase gave me 30 days notice by phone that they were closing all of my accounts with them. I had a credit score of 845 and had no late payments. After over 31/2 weeks of being misled and not given proper information, I finally got my IRA rolled over to my other institution. My normal accounts were not an issue and the bankers were helpful. I was told by several Chase employees that there would be not service fees or charges because I was forced to move my funds. It came as a shock when I discovered right before they moved my account that I was a charged $75 fee. After inquiring about this I was told by a manager that they refused to wave the fee. Do not do business with these people. Find another bank and investment broker.Review from Nirys R

Terrible this bank I do not recommend it for ANYTHING and deposited in my account the summer work check of my minor son because he does not have an ID and it is incredible to see how they closed my account for not bringing him a phone bill in the name of my son who is a minor that they do not give him a cell phone in his name and making me deliver his birth and social certificate and they still say that it is not enough proof and that they will send the money to the state which will be delivered in two years as they play with the money of a minor and they closed my account this bank crap does not work
