No matter what- do NOT buy a car from Cox Auto nor finance through HCAC finance. I was sold a lemon 2 years ago, it broke down on me the same night i bought it- on 95 in Philadelphia. I had to pay 300$ for a tow and another 80 to get an uber home. After 2 weeks in their shop, they tell me they can’t find anything wrong and it’s fine it’s fixed. Well what did you fix if there’s nothing wrong? They never did tell me but my mechanic said the fuel injectors were new. Anyway- the car has never been more reliable only than an a-b car. Over 4 months - headlights kept going out- bulbs are 35$ and after at least 200$ of bulbs- realized it’s an electrical issue. Bulbs were fine. Then the windshield wipers stop working. Then the expensive 2nd brake light doesn’t work- so this car never passed inspection! For 2 years i rode this pos back and forth to work and that was it! Paid these people 289$ a month every month on time for 25 months and missed a 144$ payment with them last week and next thing i know- a tow truck driver is knocking on my door at 730pm asking me if i’d like to clean the car out because it was being repossessed! So of course i cleaned it out- showed the man how i tried 3 times to pay and the systems were still down, but they took it anyway! When i bought it they told me they just shut it off for non payment giving you some time to pay. But they didn’t shut mine off, they immediately took it after a half of a missed payment. Well thank you for doing me a favor HCAC!! Take your pos car back- it was a blessing in disguise! Found a car for 800$ cash and it runs better then that crap they sold me!!! I owed 4000$ on a 9800$ car that had a KBB value of 2200$ at best. Stay far away!
