Really felt jerked around by these guys! When I first contacted, told me that they had open dates and could accommodate my move from mid to late in the month. I got a reasonable rate range, and had considered using them. They called me back today and said they were so busy, that they no longer had any days this month available. Not only were they asking me to commit to a date more than a month away, they required a more than $1000 deposit (the entire price of the quote for my move). When I asked if it were refundable, if I found a company who could move me sooner, they said no. Please search somewhere else! I found a company who had lots of movers and trucks, could accommodate dates one to two weeks out, and didn't require ANY deposits!

I am so sorry that the impression you received from our company was nothing short of excellent. That has never been our goal to achieve. As you are aware we worked with you for several weeks and even had a Free survey set up with you on October 6th. Until Oct 1st you were unaware of any possible date you wanted to relocated. When working with Sarah and finally discussing dates she then informed you at the time we were completely booked up for the month of October and next available date was November 4th. Sarah also stated that November was booking up as you spoke and if you wanted a date in November it would require a deposit to hold that date as we were limited each day on what we could get booked. I must tell you never in the 30 years of being in business we have never had to ask for a deposit on a relocation if the relocation was given a 5 day notice. However with the COVID situation and lack of labor to perform the relocations it has highly limited us on the relocation we can perform and required new policy's to go into effect that I would never expected to happen. Our labor force no matter what money we offer has dropped by 60% and because of that it has put an extreme strain on our operations and the daily amount of relocations we can perform. I wished we could have performed your relocation as I can assure you we would have done an excellent job in doing it. However we did not want to mislead you and tell you a date was available hoping the labor force improved to do your relocation to find out in the end we could not do it and you were stuck with no mover. I am very happy that you found a mover that could do the job and wish you nothing but happiness at your new location. Please accept my sincere apology if you believe we were trying to mislead you because that was the furthest from the truth our goal in the end was to protect you and be assured you could be relocated on the day you finally requested.
