Please see details provided in attached .pdf document (not enough character available in this box) Reporting Deceptive Business Practice at Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton: May 11, 2023: Telephone call with S. from Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton requesting estimate for house cleaning of approximately 1000 square foot home. The quoted price was between $320 and $480. Sarah said the final price will be determined by the amount of time the cleaning team needed to complete the job. Sarah said the rate would be approximately $320 for two (2) hours and $480 for three (3) hours. I indicated understanding that this would be about $160 per hour for team cleaning. In probing about the size of the cleaning team, Sarah responded either 2 or 3 people. She did not know for sure. Scheduled house cleaning with S. for May 16, 2023 May 16, 2023: 3 person cleaning team completed job in 1 hour and 44 minutes. ($280 expected charge). May 17, 2023: Our credit card was charged $436.80. No receipt of service and no notification of this credit card transaction from Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton. May 23, 2023: S. from Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton called and indicated that only the manager could provide a company receipt and the manager was unavailable until next week. At this point, S. indicated that the rate charged was $80 per hour per person for a total of $420. There is no cleaning team rate. She admitted that she may have forgotten to mention that in prior communications. Adding that most people who call don’t really question in detail like this. To date, no receipt and no call from Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton management. Remedy Requested: Refund of overcharge of $140 and detailed business receipt from Molly Maid of Southeast Dayton.
