Complaint
I had my vehicle towed for a clutch issue. I now have an ABS brake and emergency brake issues, with the indicators now showing on my dashboard.
I had my vehicle towed to American Driveline & Clutch, Inc, on *** **** ******* ******* *** XXXXX, for a clutch repair issue. I now have an ABS brake and emergency brake issue, with both indicators now showing on my dashboard (see picture) which weren't there before. Even the mechanic admits that both dash indicators weren't on when the vehicle was initially towed there, and just shrugged his shoulders and said he wasn't paying for the repairs. He then brought an indicator identifier machine to turn off the dashboard indicators, but immediately thereafter, my ABS and Emergency Brake light indicators came back on, including a "Service Brake System" message now showing. I am now afraid to drive my vehicle until I can get my brakes reviewed and potentially repaired. I DID NOT have any brake issues with my 2005 GMC Sierra Pick-up Truck until I had it towed to this place. The mechanic's name is ***. Lastly, I was quoted $873 for these repairs, with $905.45 as the final total by *** on Monday, 10/6/2014. When I came to pick up the vehicle this morning, Tuesday, 10/7/2014, I was charged $936.62.

Desired Settlement
First, I want my ABS brakes and emergency brake systems to be reviewed and repaired by ANOTHER reputable auto repair shop. Secondly, I want any & all costs for the towing, the diagnostic, potential repairs for my ABS brakes and emergency brake systems to be paid directly by American Driveline & Clutch Inc. Third, I want the difference of the quoted total clutch repairs at $905.45 subtracted from the $936.62 that I was charged and paid for, reimbursed to me immediately.

To Whom It May Concern:
Yes, the truck was towed to us and the vehicle would not start or move due to bad had clutch. How could the mechanic say the lights were on or not on if the truck would not start or run? So the customer is incorrect about the mechanic making that statement about the ABS and brake lights.
We did check the truck and ran a computer check on it. The right front speed sensor und rear wheel sensor showed "code failure". We did not charge the customer for this.
We then purchased a vehicle speed sensor which is located on tail shaft of the transmission and installed that part. Once again at no charge to the customer since we had been working in that area ofthe truck.
***, the mechanic told customer he could bring the truck back to check the wiring between the brake control module and speed sensor, which is an area of thu tlruck that we had not worked on.
