The attached documents details what I consider as likely scam/fraudulent claims by a company that without a physical address is asking for money to a Dr in a name I do not know. Their correspondence 05/11/2022, 06/10/2022,06/22/2022 I did not read all of their spam like letter, I didn't open it within their claimed time either (Due to the nature of what seems like junk mail I also don't open this promptly.) As I constructed my written response I have to read the details to see I have to request details of said debt. As I detail, I don't know a Dr Adam W. P***** Why would I waste my time on this. I have included here a portion of my letter (attached) To ... I have never received a medical bill from a Dr. P**** I have never seen a Dr. P**** I don't even know who is Dr. P**** You ask for money with not a shred of information, no date of service, no address or contact information. As a result, your letter was simply binned as yet another scam or con along with other mail of such. After your third attempt, I intended to name and shame this fraudulent information to BBB and online websites. Because you provided no supporting information, not even a phone number of this Dr. P****, I had to do that searching myself. I called a Dr. P****'s office number that I found online and there is no record of myself or a family member seeing this doctor. I see Dr. whom it would seem is associated with Dr. P**** under a business entity, however, your letter never even stated a business name, so again your lack of information is horrible. I spoke to the billing department and this is the conversation for the record. Do I have an outstanding balance with Dr. ? No, you have no outstanding balance. Does my son have an outstanding balance? No Why then when I tracked down this number for a Dr. P**** am I receiving a notice for payment of $252.12. The individual looks into my account and states that is the amount from your insurance company. ...
